Good Concept But Poor Storyline and Screenplay

Concept Of How Bank Treat Loan With middle calss People and Rich Influencial Businessman is Very Good. But The narration of the story is lagging in many places.

Screenplay is Very Old dated .

Kalavathi and Ma Ma Mahesha Songs are Very Good .

As Usual Mahesh Babu Nailed It.

Keerthy Suresh is Stunning.

Kishore Acting is Very Good.

Comedy Didn't worked for me.

Being a Fan of Bharat Ane nenu , Maharshi and Sarilelu Neekevaru It is Bit Disappointing For me .

One Time Watchable For Mahesh Babu Fans .

Sarkaru vaari paata is a 2022 commercial film starring, Super Star Mahesh Babu , Keerthi Suresh , Samuthrakani , Vennela Kishore , Tanikella Bharani and others. The plot of the movie is very different and can be seen. So basically, one should be gutsy and knowledgeable to present such flicks . No doubt , Dir. Parasuram presented in a new manner. But still ,he wasnt able to handle the plot. It actually revolves around the crux of paying EMI.

Story And Execution

Mahi ( Mahesh) runs a financing company in US, named MFC ( Mahi Financing Corporation) .He is very strict in collecting the interests for the loan given as shown in the teasers and the trailers . Kalavathi ( Keerthi Suresh) is in search of $10,000 for preparing masters and lands in Mahi's company and requests for the loan approval . When fell in love with Kalavathi ( Keerthi Suresh) , Mahi somehow fails to collect the interest and is on his way to india to collect the money back from Rajendranath , father of Kalavathi. But then , what leads to their confrontations? What has actually happened ? Is to be watched .

As earlier said, it revolves around crux paying EMI's , recoveries of EMI's, the whole sequences were well shot and seemed to be massy . What actually misfired is the ' Content'. It usually seems to be dragging and went out of the track.

Parasuram , who is well known for directing romcoms ,who previously directed films , geeta govindam , solo etc , has stepped out of the zone and tried something new , which needs to be appreciated , but due to the comedy scenes and the romance added , somehow felt forced. Even the vfx was not upto the mark counterpart editing. The colour grading was excellent as it gave me the feel of watching a flashing concept . The bgm by Thaman was decent, yet seemed to be inspired by his previous bgms . The villain's characterization was quite cool. The efforts added to bring the vintage mahesh is seen , you can clearly see Mahesh in his original way , where he is sarcastic and lived in the character . So , its completely One-man show. Songs gave the impression of being sticked to the plot. The song 'Kalavathi' is a visual treat. And mainly , the intention or the message of the movie is conveyed properly.

Verdict

As its a one time watch , can give it a try . Its definitely a feast for the fans , as they wanted to watch Mahesh in his vintage look. Nothing to say more about this , one thing is for sure to convey, that this is a new plot introduced , but the commercial element messed it up. So finally, the verdict is , its is a freshly brewed wine in an old bottle....

Mahesh Babu should come out of his message delivering stories

Setting aside fanism and fan wars ...I am writing this review as a genuine audience who would know what to expect from a commercial entertainer

Plot:

It is simple and routine plot where hero will have a rough childhood and somehow travels to USA and he owns a finance company giving hand loans and recovering them where he meets heroine and things turn and he will fight for a cause and he delivers a message in the end.

Illogical points ***

Hero owns a very big finance company in usa with many employees but he is the only one to sanction the loans and he himself travels to recover his loans and he even comments that they don't need a software and they will do the math by themselves... He gives 35k dollors to heroine but plot revolves around 10k dollors Hero trying to solve a big bank issue for a stranger who is responsible for the cause of his parents death Hero can change a entire city with just a speech in a small neighborhood...if I keep typing things will keep adding up

Overall

First half and heroine love track was bearable and provided a good laughs but when it comes to second half it is too off putting. Story is irrelevant and treatment is bad..no emotional connect ..preaching goes on and on from Mahesh Babu.

Except Mahesh Babu nothing is spectacular in this story or movie and all the 3 stars belongs to him for his attitude and carrying the role with ease.

Seems like all Mahesh babu films have a theme and the same style is followed. Nothing more than ordinary in this movie.

Keerthy suresh looks cute in few of the scenes. Mahesh babu as always is handsome in the new look.

The movie is no match for other movies that have been released lately. They need to maintain the standard. The only thing the movie is based is loans.

Not worth watching in theatre. Better to wait until they put on some OTT platform.

Typical senseless movie from a top "hero"

This is just everyother movie with a different plot point. Hero asks heroine to left with for the night. If the roles were reversed with villains, then hero would talk about women empowerment. Toxic "love" and full of hypocrisy. Hero is a nobody who by hitting employees makes them do things by saying he will stay with them. Again he is nobody to be trusted.

A complete nonsense movie and i wanted to walk out of the theatre during the intro scene itself.

This movie only made my decision to avoid all top hero and commercial movies stronger.

Same ending

Apart from storyline.. rest of the movie taking, dialogue delivery, cast, template and ending of the movie remains same. First half bit boring and second half better. Overall one time watchable.

The first thing I want to touch is how misogynistic this movie was. When Mahesh babu followed Keerthy to the university, my kids asked me what would you do if someone follows us like this? That question just made me so sad. These type of things are made so normal that hero follows heroine, teasing, making her do things and at the end making her fall in love. Why do we still accept these things? When Mahesh Babu makes Keerthy do all stupid stuff like make her sleep next to him and put the legs on her everyday, make her cook etc but the heroine who was disgusted at the beginning falls in love with him because she got used to Mahesh Babu putting legs on her 'forcefully'. How disgusting it sounds. Are we still teaching out kids that a man can force the woman to do whatever and she gets used to things or she should get used to it? This is the one thing was enough for me to hate the movie. And whatever message the movie was supposed to give was lost in all the stupid arrogance of the hero (typical Mahesh Babu style). There is nothing new in this movie as per Mahesh Babu acting, same arrogance, same one man show. There is not much difference between this movie and other movies which came before. So much violence, so much killing. Just because hero is doing social justice, who gives him the right to kill people like that? And why wouldn't he penalised for that? Are we saying that we can kill anyone if we think we are doing the social justice and saving people? Does it fit to the current social scenario or attract young people? Are we saying that all those rich people who are not paying the bank loans and getting away are such criminals who don't care of the human life and willing to kill hundreds if not 1000s to save themselves or prove their power? Isn't this creating hate in people against rich people and and provoke them to do violence? These kind of stupid movies needs to stop. Storyline/plot that hero saves the society from rich who get away with not paying loans is maybe great but everything else was disgusting.

I didn't expect this kind of movie from Mahesh Babu. For some reason Mahesh Babu's brain is still stuck in the 1990's. People are expecting to watch larger than life kinda movies (ex Pusha, RRR etc). If Mahesh doesn't come out of his comfort zone, he will be left behind in the race.

Coming to the dumb logic in this movie, heroine borrowed (1st payment of $10k, 2nd payment of $25K, stole lot of cash from his bag in the song scenes) from hero, but hero kept saying that she owes only $10k.

Don't let the audience predict what scene comes next in the movie...try to mesmerize people with the quality of story writing.

The quantum of banking scams are increasing year after year in our country. We need to educate the masses on not repaying the loans on time. It is true that banks mostly commercial banks while they pressurise the middle class families for ontime repayment of EMIs, they let go the typical businessmen who avail some hundreds and thousands of crores of loans and do not pay on time. There is no credit culture in our country and it can be evidenced by rising NPAs every year. The director Parasuram did a fine job in handling the matter and the screenplay was good . Acting by the lead actors could have been better. Songs were pathetic and did not suit the story at all.

The acting by Vennela Kish was good and we don't get to see many movies reflecting our credit culture and scams in banks. Ultimately these bad loans are written off which is a huge dent to the profitability of the banks and to the economy and this aspect was also shown well in the movie.

Where the movie faltered is Mahesh Babu acts a bit silly in this serious topic too and never gets to the skin of the character. Plus too many fight scenes make it a confusing script . The acting by Samuthirakani was also good.

Dear Parasuram

Geeta Govindam was also contrived fiction devoid of logic, but the narrative, screenplay and direction were superlative. SVP is an anti climax in comparison.

Perhaps the expectations were too high after your GG, that SVP seemed like a mediocre film. With two powerful themes that have diluted each other (say no to retail loans versus collect only corporate loans). Not many sequences to remember and reminisce (like the Nilu episode or marriage shopping in GG), and you took three years to weave this story line.

Second, please don't under utilise talented actors (Nadia, Keerthi Suresh, Samuthirakani). But must say that you have handled Mahesh sequences well. You are the master of close-up shots. And Thaman's music is a big plus. So this is a good one time watch unlike GG which I watched 9 times in a movie theatre.

Expressionless acting by MB. Not sure how people are watching his movies. No story, no direction. Telegu film industry needs to get fresh scripts. Only illogical fighting not going to help.

While the plot of the movie has potential, it unfortunately develops into a flawed and inconsistent story.

The screenplay is overly traditional and lacks logical coherence.

The dialogues come across as silly and fail to make a significant impact.

Mahesh Babu's energetic performance feels wasted in the wrong movie, and he appears more like a mannequin than a convincing character.

In comparison, Keerthi's may not match up to Mahesh, but she proves to be a better pairing compared to Samantha and Rashmika.

Her portrayal of a clumsy character is commendable, as she manages to pull it off effectively.

The production values are undeniably rich, showcasing a high level of visual appeal.

The music is acceptable, although it fails to leave a lasting impression.

The action sequences suffer from illogical and outdated execution, undermining their impact.

Parasuram's direction is considered subpar and lacking in quality.

Sarkaru Vaari Paata - Old Wine, Older Bottle, But Luckily A Bit Of Old Mahesh Babu

There are two ways to look at Sarkaru Vaari Paata. Either view the film as an astoundingly unoriginal film that follows no screenplay writing rules or celebrate it as the return of Mahesh Babu of the late 2000s and early 2010s where he was willing to take a joke on himself, be villainous, and most importantly show some energy on screen.

When presented with good news and bad news at the same time, I usually choose to hear the bad news first. So let me begin by recounting how creatively dull Sarkavaru Vaari Paata is. The plot is simple. A money lender in the USA, Mahesh (Mahesh Babu) decides to go to Vizag to retrieve money that is owed to him by Rajendranath (Samuthirakani), a corrupt businessman. But once there, he realises that he's not alone in being cheated by the businessman and the film is about him bringing those affected by Rajendranath's greed to justice.

The main reason this movie works is the content is relatable and the dialogues have superb punch. The comedy portions works well in first half but went overboard later. It's a good entertainer irrespective of too many flaws!!

Wasted 300 I went Ashoka Vanam lo Arjuna Kalyanam for rs 100 it's felt very good concept and nice movie Svp is routine YouTube stories we can watch it in web series but not to go theatres with families and and to spent hundreds

Bomma blockbuster

1st half is good,chemistry between mahesh and keerthi is nice.

2nd half little bit dull but mahesh pulled it of with his performance.

Comedy timing is highlights of the movie.

Dance and songs take movie to the next level,sekhar master choreography is simply superb.

Parasuram managed well with the direction and dalouges.

Overall movie is eye feast for the audience.

Burning message watered down because of lack of seriousness

To being with, I would like to thank the crew for picking up a hot, serious topic in India and trying to educate the audience about it. Gotta have guts to pick such a topic and make a movie on it.

However, the director keeps reminding us that this is just a fun movie and doesn't let us feel the gravity of the issue they are trying portray.

For example, the extravagance and details on the fights, the silliness with the female lead. I mean, please andi, kaallu vesthe nidara ravatam enti andi. Meke anipinchaledha, situation dilute ayipothundi ani?

TBH, I enjoyed this movie more than BAN, Maharshi or SNE(the worst of all, still feel bad for myself for ever watching that movie). But coming back, we want MB to keep picking up great topics but also would like to request them to be honest to the topic.

Super acting by Mr. Mahesh Babu garu. This film is about true incidents. So inspiring. Many people say it is time waste to watch a movie like this but it's a family movie. Nowadays people need a movie with some masala songs etc. They don't need the story and don't understand the meaning of it.

Saved by SSMB, letdown by writing

First things first, Mahesh Babu's screen presence and swag was worth million bucks. But sadly due to the mediocre writing, the movie felt like a bumpy road, especially in the later half, leaving the audience in a bittersweet taste. BGM from Thaman was below par, mainly the interval fight was bogged down by his work, rest of the technical work looked decent. Parasuram's idea of delivering a social message sounded nice, but focusing too much on the hero's style lead to uneveness in the screenplay. Overall,a one-time watch commercial entertainer.

There is nothing new in story content. As usual over fight and many songs are there🚶, Acting is not good 👎Fight are made more artificial type only a plus point in this film is kalaavathi song. Overall a waste film in Mahesh babu career. Totally disappointed one👍
