Probably better received as a short film
DanTheButler17 January 2023
The first thing I noticed about this project is for a low to no budget indie, the production value is pretty good. However, the editing is a bit experimental that doesn't quite pay off though. The concept isn't anything new and the story quickly outstays its welcome after the first 20 minutes. The movie as a whole isn't too long, but it feels like a film with too much unnecessary dialogue that doesn't help the storytelling. Specifically way too many forced F-bombs and profanity for my taste.

I like the acting earlier in the film, but it spirals downward from there, likely due to the script. The characters are all clearly adults, but they act like teenagers in high school. The genre is more of a romance drama than a thriller, with excessive kissing and romantic flirting more frequent than a mystery or thriller would typically have.

I think I would have enjoyed the film more as a 20-30 minute short since a lot of the dialogue just kinda dragged down the pacing and took me out of connecting important plot points.

The return of the psychological drama..
Lt-Columbo7 July 2023
Warning: Spoilers
I very much enjoyed this film. It was quite cerebral. I enjoyed the low budget production value because it added realism. You don't see psychological thrillers anymore and I thought this was pretty good. There were a couple of good scenes that gave me goosebumps. There was even some Hitchcock-ian references within the film and in the pacing. You couldn't figure out who was in love with who and what was going on until you get to the end, and even then you are left up in the air. Was all of it real or was it all a dream? Was some of it real, or was it all fantasy of a mentally impaired woman? There was nothing adolescent about this movie at all. I would imagine that this movie is an acquired taste. You really would have to "get it" to enjoy it. I recommend it highly. You definitely walk away thinking.

Love this film!!!

I absolutely adored this film. I watched this movie with my dad on Amazon several weeks before his passing and he raved about this movie afterwards. He loved the actresses, and he really enjoyed some of the twists and turns. I for one love this movie because of the editing, and the directing. What an amazing idea and execution. As you watch this film you truly begin to believe that you are actually following these people who seem very real. I liked all of the what looked like handheld camera work, and some of the natural situations and behaviors of the actors as if they might have channel their only emotions and add a little bit. Really good movie with a great twist ending. Well worth watching.
