Ok for a Lifetime sequel

The acting was ok but the story could have dealt more in-depth with the original movie (Perfect High), IMO. This one felt tamer, less bleak and sent less of a message. The first movie showed a more physical dive with Oxy to heroin than this did with widely abused Xanax amd alcohol. Sure they added some dark circle eye makeup, but it never looked real or rock bottom.

Not an awful movie but not great.

Again kids missusing the benzo family meds making it harder & harder for the one's that really need it prescribed for them for really having anxiety!!!! SMH!!!

Nia Sioux seemed flat and scattered in this film. She was not likeable and for me, very hard to engage with.... The dodgy sound and very average cinematography did not help...

I did however find Anthony Timpano charismatic and engaging and would like to see him in something else with a more rounded and better written character.

The topics and themes of the film were worthy but this film offered nothing fresh or new..

Nia needs more acting experience,it felt rather weak in some areas.

Although she was on Dance Moms for years,it really was a different platform.. Plus her other work history listed might of not still adequately trained her,for being in anything beyond certain roles.

This movie storyline has been done in the past,in ways much better.

Also the audio when Nia spoke felt rather bad sometimes,like she was mumbling or low spoken.

Average cinematography & overall,decent cast with acting.

Not something to skip,but yet not really watchable again.

If she's in future,movies or TV series.. Will be looking forward to,seeing some growth in her craft.

This is an important film dealing with issues that affect a number of young people. It's so easy for healthy teenagers to get roped into taking drugs, at first not with the intention of doing so but because they're influenced by peers already taking drugs. This film is about a girl who starts a new school when her single mother moves to begin a new job. She is very talented and has a lot of enthusiasm until she falls in with a bad crowd, It goes to show that you must always be careful who you make friends with. It was well acted and really powerful for a lifetime. This is what lifetimes should be like, dealing with real life issues. Okay my only complaint is that it wasn't on long enough, for something like this. It needs to be a series and not squeezed into a film.

Horrible acting

Wow this is some really horrible so called acting. Lifetime needs to go back to real actors they use to make such good movies. I use to watch them all the time could not wait for the new movies. Now these are so hard to watch.

Anthony Timpano- ABSOLUTE hearthROB

Gossip girl here- Wow, I am blown away by the charm of Anthony Timpano in this film.. Talk about future absolute heart throb... Those facial expressions really drew me into the energy of this actor. Instant crush vibes.... This guy is going big soon..... you just wait. Other actors seemed kind of young and lacking in depth. But I just can't get over Anthony Timpano..... Oh Rob.... hearthROB. The plot of the film was relatable and educational for the younger crowd... however I can't wait to see my new crush go big in the future.... mark my words. A star has to start somewhere. The theme is great for the new teens but the actor that really stood out for me was Anthony Timpano.

And just like 2015's Perfect High with Bella Thorne this movie was relatable. As a person who has struggled with addictive friends and addiction myself, this movie hit home. This is EXACTLY how easy it is to get sucked into the hole of addiction. How a thing like buying drugs in broad day light just comes normal or natural to a true addict. This movie was well acted and I already love a good LM. So although this movie was a mirror image to the 2015 movie. These new actors really made you believe this was happening! It was almost a hard watch it felt so real in the delivery of it. I definitely recommend if you know someone just taking a few drugs, or even thinking about trying something for the first time just to fit in. It is not all roses and sunshine and it can ruin your life in one fail swoop.

The acting was horrible. Like right off the bat. Second they did good with how falling into addiction can happen just like that. I'm a recovering addict & and at the end when she "overdoses" from taking those two lines of Xanax is like the most unrealistic thing ever. Unless is was laced (which they weren't, they were prescribed) is the only way two lines would do anything. It was so cliche with the boyfriend cheating on her with the girl bestfriend. Like this movie could've had so much potential considering it was falling off of Perfect high. But the acting was horrible, Nia should not be an actress, everything was super cliche, saw it coming from a mile away. I'm really sad cause I had high hopes for this movie. Was fine for a first time watch but wouldn't watch it again. Also whoever wrote it, has definitely not actually dealt with Xanax addiction.
