Well made and brave production
x3p6 August 2020
Even though the episodes were short, there were lot to happen in once without displeasing you. On the general, acting was way better than what I expected and especially Muge Bayramoglu's (Eylül) performance was impressive. I should also mention the great music selections and the professional sound mixing. This production also proved us that you dont have to have the greates filming cameras to get good shots. This is very inspirational for amateur film makers like me and I really appreciate it. Thank you for this enjoyable show.

First time in Turkey after a long time

I think that this kind of series was last made in the 90s. In the days when censorship gradually increased, it is a great job to see bold work and find actors who can show determination to play in the series, even on the paid platform.

a pleasant surprise

First things first, even to shoot this series under an authoritarian islamofascist government takes a lot of courage so i had to congratulate the directors and BluTv for that. Other than that, it's much better than i expected, considering the 5.7 imdb rating, which was a pleasant surprise. For its budget, I think it is a very well made series. It had some flaws and superficiality in its plot, but it is not something unexpected as each episode is around 15 min. Normally, I would give 6/10 for the series itself, but considering the political environment it has been made under and the directors' effort to create something original in Turkish standards I think it deserves 8/10.

Targeted by a Journalist and Removed by BluTV following the order of RTUK
againstcensorship15 December 2020
On Monday, 14 December 2020, this series was targeted on Twitter by a journalist named Cuneyt Ozdemir on behalf of RTUK, which is the Turkish state agency for monitoring, regulating, and sanctioning radio and television broadcasts, so to speak, for censoring them. Subsequently, BluTV, which was the streaming service of the series, seemed to bow down to RTUK as removing Ciplak from its library without any opposing reaction. In addition, surprisingly, Can Evrenol, who is the director of Ciplak and known for his rebellious and brave way of thinking, hasn't shown any opposing reaction against these ridiculous events yet. What a fiasco!
