Adam Copeland and Randy Orton in WWE Backlash (2020)

Trivia

WWE Backlash

Edit
Most of the show aired live, but the match between Edge and Randy Orton was filmed on June 7th. This allowed for some enhanced and unique production techniques, like different camera angles (particularly the overhead shots), and amplified crowd noises to make it sound more like it was in an arena with 10000+ fans. They also used the opening of the song "The Greatest Show" by Panic! At the Disco, and also used the drop down microphone used in Madison Square Garden in the 1980s (and seen being used during WrestleMania I) and had the voice of the late Howard Finkel introducing both wrestlers and making the announcement of the winner after the match was over.
Randy Orton used The Punt for the first time since 2013.
The show was originally booked to take place in Kansas City, Missouri on June 14, 2020. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was moved to the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.
The last WWE PPV event to use the original Backlash name until 2023, it was renamed as WrestleMania Backlash the following year.
