Debbie Does Demons is an SOV low budget indie film from director Donald Farmer.
I read the other users reviews and some of them are pretty harsh. Even if you don't like the film the there is absolutely no reason to criticize the actors or actresses weight. The comment stating a certain actress needed to lose 40 pounds was extremely uncalled for! Again, if you don't like a movie or someone's performance fine, but it is absolutely not okay to critique peoples body types or weight. The point of a review is to give your opinion on the film or an actors performance, not their body type and their breasts.
Anyway four friends resurrect a 300 year old witch using a Ouija board. One of the friends is a direct descendant of the witch, Carmilla (Jessa Flux).
A couple of people come to Debbie (Angel Bradford) for help against Carmilla. Debbie is the host of a late night horror program, in the same vein as the Peter Vincent character from the 1985 film Fright Night.
The film itself is SOV, meaning shot on video. That is why the film looks the way that it does, and that's why the image is jumpy at times. The image quality is intentionally the way it is. Thought I would address this since so many people were knit picking about this.
Remember this is an Indie horror film. It's not a big budget Hollywood Blockbuster. The cast is good for this type of project. Roni Jonah, Angel Bradford, and Jessa Flux are standouts.
I own the Blu Ray. I'm pleased with my purchase.
