Alternative Versionen

Over 30 minutes of film was never shot for the film, due to restrictions with Covid-19 and budget. An assembly cut, consisting of test footage, extended & deleted scenes, and concept art. Many of these scenes are more dramatic and scarier. This version was purposely destroyed by director Maxwell Whiteman when he created his Director's Cut.

The original version of TULPA was made and released as a school project. This version is a straight forward horror-comedy, with much of the fantasy and sci-fi elements removed and replaced with an Opening narration.

In 2021, Maxwell Whiteman re-edited the film into the Uncut Director's Cut. Along with a full soundtrack, the film introduces the science fiction and fantasy elements that were removed, and includes an 11 minute long deleted scene.
