A mixed-media project
Mysterygeneration13 January 2024
Hypnosis Mic: Division Rap Battle - Rhyme Anima is a mixed-media project that started in 2018 with hip-hop rap battles under Evil Line Records. Since then, it has created stage performances and manga versions of its four primary rap groups. Fans are looking forward to A-1 Pictures' anime adaptation this year. There's more to the Hypnosis Mic universe than just Fujoshis rap-battling with hip-hop music; the animation can be found on YouTube and Spotify.

The story and plot of the anime "Hypnosis Mic" are criticized for their lack of character development and banger songs. The Fujoshis are left with Hypnosis Mic for violence tactics, and the main leaders split up and formed rap group trios. The music is what the show is about, with the Fujoshi guys being MA-18 dudes and spittin' fire bars of bad-ass songs of fiery and burning bridges. The execution of this setting on the small screen delivers outstanding levels of lunacy and madness, and A-1 Pictures' exceptional visuals and animation, from bearable CGI to high-octane MV-levels of audio-visual rap battles, make it a marriage of the wackiest, unhinged, yet stylish anime that is truly worthy of the "one-of-a-kind" moniker.

I loved it

I can't understand why would someone said that this is not worth a thing?

I've been in love with the music since way before this came out and I really loved the anime too

I don't understand the haters but for me, this is really a good anime and I hope to see a second season of this

And I recommend listening to their songs on Youtube or read the manga since it has more plot, and it gets into each character's lore more deeply.

Those who don't watch lose a lot

I don't expect most people to understand that... I'm going to talk about the final part on a little bit, there were some things that didn't add up, and when I looked into it, it didn't take me long to realize that it was actually a music project.

There's a play, hypnosis mic arb, a manga, drama tracks that are specific to each division, and unlike most glittering musical animes, it doesn't feel childish.

Each character's history is worse than each other (in a good way, don't get me wrong) the stories of the characters are perfect. In short, I suggest you definitely start!

I like this anime

I'm sure he'd be more than happy if he'd been addicted to his over-rushed squad. It starts after the episode, but I still love this series.

It's an anime I'm definitely looking forward to in its second season, and I'm hoping that maybe the second season will continue to depend on the squad, but let's see. :)

Such a fun show!

I'm shocked to see how many people have given this a low score. It's such a fun show - absolutely ridiculous in the best of ways and the music is very catchy. I love the music/stage plays/manga and the anime is a wonderful addition to the franchise.

It's really fun to root for your favorite divisions, especially during the Division Rap Battle near the end of the series.

Definitely check out the drama tracks and manga for more story, but the anime is fantastic on its own.
