The future
skullfire-4801216 January 2021
Warning: Spoilers
They interview him, he spouts many well known conspiracy theories about the future, there's nothing original here. It should be listed as a mockumentary, several plots from movies, books and other media. Luckily it's short, you won't have to invest much time, if you decide to watch.

Unbelievably Bad
cheekyfilm20 February 2021
This is really unwatchable. A guy made this in a weekend it seems like, he talks to an "interviewer" about the future, claiming he is from 1000 years ahead of us. Despite this, he talks exactly the same as us, dresses the same, failed to predict COVID-19, and generally makes very embarrassing statements that a child claiming to be from the future probably would make. This wasn't even bad enough to laugh at, it was just pathetic. By the end there are a couple additions or wrinkles to the plot, but there is an extreme lack of work put into them, so each "revelation" lands a complete and utter dud.

Stay far, far away. Only giving 2 stars because I think that hurts the movie in the algorithm more. No stars / 5

Not a Documentary
DavidBarak22 January 2021
It's obvious this isn't a documentary, and it's not even a good fake. Consider this: in more than 1,000 years, the English language would almost certainly have changed to a point where it would be difficult to understand. A thousand years ago what you and I know as the English language was vastly different. This twit speaks just like someone from the present day. There are so many other things. I'm not so bothered by the film itself, but by the claim that this _is_ a documentary rather than a simulated documentary.

"You know, in the future, they refer to this time as the idiot era."
classicsoncall27 June 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Right there my friends, right in my summary line, and spoken by the Time Traveler himself, is all you need to know about this picture. Everything revealed by 'Sebastian' in this short film would form the basis for a neat science fiction movie while incorporating all the hysteria that's evolved since the onset of the corona virus. By 2060, cell phones will be outlawed over concerns for the radiation they emit. By the 2080's, men and women go bald because of it, while vaccine implants will be government mandated. Unless you're a 'beneather', living underground and refusing to kow-tow to government edicts. People will live in pods to protect themselves from pollutants and the big blackout will occur in 2052 and last five years, causing riots and massive upheaval. But you know, underneath it all is a veneer of truth if you consider the direction in which society and humanity are moving. As global behemoth companies like Amazon and Google extend their reach and influence, it's not unthinkable that they replace governments and countries in some distant future. What this Time Traveler needs is a good script writer to get these ideas down and into a two hour screenplay. It could be an Oscar contender.

More for conspiracy theorists, the simpler kind
butthymen29 January 2021
Warning: Spoilers
It hits all the best of today's zanier fringes wet-fever dreams, and tries to cobble them all together. Don't expect too much in the way of original or thought provoking 'revelations' from the year 3036. No, the protagonist comes from over a thousand years in our future but don't expect any cool interesting stuff to be occurring at that time; sci-fi's already beat all those horses to death... decades ago. In fact, the saddest part about the narrative is that it probably would have worked better despite the cringeworthy, looney-bin pandering, had the the future-year been 2336 or even 2236. But that wouldn't add up for the final shoe-horned conspiracy theory to work. And these writers certainly started at the end, jumped back in time to the beginning, fleshed a few mediocre things, and jumped right back to the end... I won't go into the acting, if someone is capable of suspending disbelief for the plot than they're gonna be able to excuse anything. And the acting is partly due to the story the actor or actress is working with. Two stars for taking the time to make it.

What's the #1 question you'd ask him?
cjgmusic31 January 2021
I think the first thing anyone would ask is, "Why did you come back to this time?" and it's not even in their top 5. He doesn't have any trepidation with sharing a ton of specific information about events in the future. Interesting, but as a home-made Youtube video, or mockumentary. Could've been really good, if they'd thought any of this out.

BS
cdgainesjr12 February 2021
OMyGosh. That was such BS. And done so "sophomorically" as one said earlier. He rented a house with no job, no money? Lab test take an awful lot of money which I'm sure, "Jack" didn't have the cash for. It was a convenient mish-mash of today's most popular conspiracy theories. The acting was too contrived and overly nuanced. Just complete BS.

Faux documentary. This needs better labeling to make that more clear.
nimitz54114 February 2021
Not sure what this guy is trying to do, he's in no way believable tho. He comes off as not being a time travler, but someone with too much time on his hands and maybe some mental handicaps. Someone just trying to make some money during covid. You can tell he hunts around and makes up answers to questions he's being asked by his vocal inflections. Even the quesitons he's being asked are constructed to help further his scam. From start to finish, 100% unbelievable and should hold no place being catigorized as a documentary. I'm starting to feel that people that make films as bad as this should start to be fined. I bet they air this on the History channel at some point..

I was SO EXCITED to give this 0 stars
jb057926 May 2021
I had hoped that I could even maybe give NEGATIVE stars to this absolute (unfunny) joke of a bad show. I mean after all, some bad TV shows and Movies are fun to watch, right? Well this absolute waste of brain cells wasn't even good enough to be considered "aweful."

It's too bad that Jack Kemp, late political bigwig and NFL/CFL QB, has his name sullied my this filmmaker. I mean, I watch a LOT of TV and see a LOT of movies - like more than even people that watch way above average. I look for the good in everything, and as putrid and fetid as this was, I can always find good things, and I found good things here, too. For example, it wasn't very long, so while the misery was considerable it wasn't prolonged before, mercifully the credits rolled.

Here before us on the screen was a guy in a mask. I thought to myself "Wow. This is gonna be sh¡++y from the giddyup? Okay, bring it on if you can!" It could, and it did. First, the guy on the cover poster that you are led to believe is Sebastián (a name which means "Change the channel NOW! In French or Cherokee or Inuit or something) wasn't the same guy in the film (hooded eyelids on cover, different than the (really bad) actor in the (aweful) movie. The premise is that a so called investigative reporter hears about a time traveller and basically walks up and docks on the door. Evidently there aren't a zillion other people from the press wanting to knock on this guy's door also. What followed was a couple of poorly acted interviews interviews and A very predictable ending. After watching this it makes me really thirsty for a good movie like Gigly, or "Stop or my Mom will Shoot," or "The Island of Dr. Moreau." Please. Please don't punish your future self. Skip this one.

Warning: Spoilers
It's just a fake documentary about a fictional character that claims he's from the future, year 3036 to be exact. In my opinion it was just, really poor writing, first off the guy says radiation made every one sick and that is why he was bald, but then he has hair, yeah it's just falling out but hair doesn't grow back from radiation sickness, unless I'm wrong, okay, but then he says, "cell phones make me sick" but he said yes to an X-Ray. Just more than it's fair share of plot holes, but to each their own, right?

Well done and entertaining
melodyman5024 September 2021
I think people are WAY too hard on this short. I found it lots of fun and well-acted. If you don't agree with the projected "politics" of the script that's one thing. But I thought the lead actor did a very good job of portraying someone from the future who is torn between keeping his "secrets" and wanting someone to share them with. Also, I think he carried it well considering he was masked and you only saw his eyes and mouth...that's hard to do imo. Are people mad because it isn't real? (or is it? Lol) Anyway, I enjoyed it very much and thought it was well executed.

Fun watch if you are not overly critical
supergye28 April 2021
Warning: Spoilers
This fake documentary did a pretty good job with the setup in the main character Sebastian, supposedly from the year 3036. There are plot holes unfortunately.

The movie reveals Sebastian view of the future has more in common with conspiracy theories than QAnon. Movie starts with a realistic news article that sets up Sebastian being caught by police for stealing, and unable to find his identity. In his future food is free, as is water, so he didn't know he was stealing. Later hair DNA analysis indicates he has no match to humans, and his blood has high levels of irons and toxins. Earlier in an interview he noted the toxic environment we can look forward to. This part makes no sense since he obviously looks to be human form and claims to be of our lineage. It is not explained, as is how he could be alive with this type of blood disorder. They may have gone a bit too far with that bit.

He says everyone is bald in the future due to radiation. This is another crazy claim. As we know non-ionizing radiation such as 5G which Sebastian says is the start of our toxic environment, does not cause you to go bald, chemo does. Plus, "everyone" is this way or that statement are wild assertions.

In case you are a believer, another critic tried to find the news article associated with the police arrest and was not able to substantiate it. Regardless, you could still fake your way thru this from start to finish, but it would have been a ruse to beat all.

I still enjoyed this movie if not for just the critical argument you can build for and against the future predictions. Which in some cases are borrowed plot lines from sci-fi movies. The corporation control of societies labor force and government for example, is glommed from the successful tv series Continuum.

Although I don't believe this is a real character, it was a fun ride. Sebastain is an ok actor, and at moments believable. The haters feel they were duped and were angry. One must suspend disbelief when watching. If you can forgive the director/writer for this approach to faux filmmaking, one can open their mind to this type of entertainment.

Comedy of errors
ddvorak-9008921 February 2021
Warning: Spoilers
This is clearly a comedy, does not even rate to the caliber of Blair Witch mockumentary. If Jack had spent a little more time correcting the spelling and grammatical errors in the fake news stories it may have been a bit more believable. He clearly does not know where the apostrophe is on the keyboard, and the character name is even spelled incorrectly in one of the articles. They also need to check their math. At one point the character speaks of the 2080's then jumps to 3010. What happened to the 2100's, 2200's, etc.? You mean the radiation from today's devices still affects humans over 800 years later? Even after the big blackout ? And the poor gentleman with alopoecia you used for an arrest photo,,,spare him the indignity.

Pure Laziness
joemcfarland-2056929 June 2021
Warning: Spoilers
It's like the filmmaker spent a whole hour brainstorming for this project before throwing it it together in two days. How obviously little effort was put into this is upsetting. It's insulting to sci-fi and film in general. It's a really fun idea, and the mockumentary format is perfect for it, but they make zero attempts to maintain the fantasy. Every one of "Sebastian's" lines are a cornfest of over-acting, which I could forgive if they had spent any time considering possible inconsistencies with the time traveler's: 1. English is not only still spoken in 1,000 years, but is also identical to North American English now. I doubt I could have a fluent conversation in English with someone from 100 years ago let alone 1,000 2. He can somehow perfectly explain his world and upcoming events in ours in terms we can understand. "Flip a switch" "flying cars" "robots". If he was raised so far ahead in time, wouldn't it take awhile for him to understand just how primitive we are? Shouldn't he be throwing terms around that go right over our head? For example: talking to someone from 100 years ago, I might let the phrase "send them a text" slip. They'd think I mailed a book 3. Apparently, either countries like the US, Iran, and China still exist in 1,000 years. We're they seriously too lazy to come up with a name like "Airstrip One" or "Panam" for places? Nope, either they're still around, or he's so adjusted to our time that the world map as it is now has superseded the one he was taught since birth 4."there's been this same car following me. Yes, I have a camera right now, but no, I will not make an attempt to document this car that is totally following me" 5. "He's agreed to take medical tests. No we will not film said tests, nor even film him walking into a clinic. Oh and X-ray radiation is fine, only cellphones make him violently ill" 6. Despite hundreds of years living shorter, more irradiated, and overall worse lives, human physiology is just about the same, despite being bald. The average height for a man 200 years ago was 3" shorter than it is now. Looks like a regular guy from Baltimore to me.

One could go on, but there's no point. Very lazy.

Painstakingly Cliche and Unoriginal
unmzas19 July 2021
Is this a student film? I really don't want to rag on someone's artistic work for academic purposes. Or maybe it's meant to be a joke or parody. There wasn't very much research done to tell us about the future. Borrowing from all of the very cliche conspiracy theories of a mandatory microchip, the dangers of 5G and the Rothschilds as corporate overlords, this was as deep as a kiddie pool. I have a friend who recommended it who was blown away. Lol I don't know how. Maybe she didn't realize how derivative these notions of the future are. Either way. YIKES. I want my 37 minutes back.

bravjake2 February 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Straight to the point: At about 31 minutes in the narrator claims a body was found with "the" hand missing. The identity couldn't be confirmed to be the mystery man of topic. But just before that, you (Jack) claim to have gotten blood work results in.... For those who watched: Do you understand what I'm saying?

I agree with a previous commenter that 1000 years from now language would be completely different from what we're hearing come out of his mouth just as it was 1000 years ago. This is pretty home-cooked. At least the Blair Witch film had a few surprises. That all said, I can't totally disagree with some of the points written in to the dialogue. We do seem Hell bent on self destruction. I just think it'll be quicker than 3036.

What a load of lockdown rubbish. Irresponsible "film making".
rockitpoh25 February 2021
I do believe that there are people in this world who have a low enough intelligence quota to actually think this is real. Hell, a friend of mines girlfriend thought the daily Onion was a real news site. But that kind of proves the point I am trying to make. Material like this preys on the feeble minded and easily influenced, and could cause a good deal of anxiety amongst those who cant see through the BS. This film is presented as reality, the only "face" indication I have as to its falseness is the fact that it is not listed as a "documentary" .

I feel It is in this case misleading and deceptive and the film makers should be ashamed of themselves if they intended anyone to believe this. If they did not intend anyone to believe this then what point does it serve? Is it indirectly trying to force the "our planet is dying" message through the premise of fear? Or is it even more superficial than that?

Just another shallow conspiracy story that is adding to this world of deception and fake news. Proliferating declining mental health and distrust within our society. I'm not saying all conspiracy theories are BS. But you will need a lot more than a poor actor wearing a covid mask to fool me. What a load of lockdown rubbish. These guys must have been really bored.

Wow! This was BAD!
theguy10 August 2021
Wow! This was BAD! I could have done something like this myself - hey Tubi! How can I sell you my 38 minute weekend project for big bucks?!

Not only is it poorly acted and executed - but the conspiracy theories used to "back up" the time travel story are so laughable - well - I actually laughed out loud!

Come on Tubi - you need to have minimum standards for the stuff you put out there for public consumption!

*Major Spoiler Alert* Important Information for Your Health & Our Future
lexasppp24 December 2021
Warning: Spoilers
This movie was INCREDIBLY SCARY....and I believe him 100%.

ANYONE THAT HASN'T SEEN "CONFESSIONS OF A TIME TRAVELER: The Man From 3036", you need to watch it.

❗But LISTEN❗

The government is lying to the people in that time about the radiation. People are losing their hair because they are pumped full of metals. Some of those metals have ANTIMICROBIAL PROPERTIES. They kill the hair follicle. These vaccines are pumped full of metals which is why the shot zones are magnetic for a few days.

----Important Information to Anyone with Allergies----

This is also why many are having allergy reactions to the vaccines. They are really experiencing something medical known as DIE-OFF. Die-off causes an enzyme to be released from the dead microbial carcasses that the vaccine kills. The enzyme is like battery acid to us. It breaks down our tissue into a liquid consistency the microbia use for nutrients.

These reactions are not allergies. It's DIE-OFF from the vaccine KILLING YOUR MICROBIOME. It is lowering your immunity. I dare to say that allergies aren't even real. The reaction is, but the cause, is DEAD wrong.

Anyone that experiences anaphylaxis ... from ANYTHING THEY PUT IN THEIR BODY .... actually has a severe infection normally made up of fungus and bacteria. Those foods your eating and putting in the core of your body are more than likely antifungal or an antibacterial foods....or they have some kind of probiotic properties. Those foods are trying to SAVE YOUR LIFE....so if you quit eating them...you're killing yourself, because those are your most effective infection killers for your body specifically.

All you have to do is take a binding agent like Food-Grade-Activated-Charcoal and the so called "allergies", will go away. People with anaphylaxis need to start eating a tiny bit of that food and slowly increase the amount until eventually there won't be enough of the infection in your body to cause it.

The differnece between eating the foods to kill the infection vs metals....the metals do not leave your body willingly. It's difficult to flush them out and take a very long time. If the metals are inserted via multiple vaccines, our water, canned foods, scraped from our pots and pans, utensils ... it adds up quickly.

------tangent over-------

Back to it. If you notice he tells you.... the people outside, live as long as the people inside, 40 years. He's been brain washed....and lied to! They have self imprisoned themselves .... due to this lie. It's exactly what "the obsolete" (lowercased and formerly known as "The Elite") want in the end.

It is NOT 5g phone lines

It is NOT cell phones

They purposely take out the power grid in 30 years

We need to make sure our children know this!!

They need to make sure their children know this!!

It is already happening. 15 years ago....dogs average age was 16. In 2020 that average dropped to age 11. ELEVEN! THAT ID ALMOST HALF OF THEIR LIVES. Gone. When I was 5 years old my parents didn't want to get a dog because when I went to college, they would be stuck with it. That's 13 years they expected them to live .... and he did too. Because we got one anyway. He died at age 17. A full blooded Chow Chow we bought from a slum trailer in the middle if no where.

He basically tells us that the obsolete succeed.

Are you going to let that happen?

Entertaining but yeah right . . .
knouserachel27 October 2021
Warning: Spoilers
I watched it a couple of times only because I found it entertaining. The fact that he had to wear a mask due to radiation, wouldn't you wear a gas mask in that case? Also he looked nothing like the guy in the photo. How all of a sudden his hair could grow back. And the statement there is no entertainment but yet there are zoo's? With dogs, cats and squirrels?

You have to laugh.....😜
dippoli27 September 2021
This is so preposterous you just have to laugh. I love the reviews here too. The scary thing is that I have some simple minded conspiracy theorists in my family. I tell you the truth, stupid films like these makes it hard on me!

Not only is it hard on me, but on our communities that are battling the spread of COVID-19.

Ignorant people are not getting vaccinated because they literally think they might have a chip implanted into them. What a disservice, that this film reinforces the stupidity!
