Giving out duds at Box-office is not harmful but what is really demeaning is being part of unworthy, embarrassing movies. Though we are not making any perception about the caliber and potential of an actor like Ajay Devgn, there are few flicks which the superstar would also want disown like us or he might always regret of. While we take a look at the disasters he readily (and repeatedly) did, we also hope Ajay steers clear of it in future.
Action Jackson: With the actor putting on his dancing shoes, everyone deemed it to be an image changeover for Ajay Devgn and the most-anticipated spectacle of the year. On the contrary filmmaker Prabhu Dheva and Ajay's combination was shunned by all.

1. ‘Aayega Aane Wala’ from Mahal (1949) – Though this song won’t be as well known amongst the younger generation, the song ‘Aayega Aane Wala’ from the chilling film Mahal, is important for one major reason. This song made India’s nightingale Lata Mangeshkar a nationwide superstar and she went on to sing for Bollywood films for another six decades.

The British Royal couple, His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall, are currently busy touring India. Nine days long in duration and the third official trip taken together, comes with more than one powerful message.
Firstly, the Prince’s message is of encouraging the wealthy to take responsibility towards India’s deprived and struggling; secondly, the Prince’s charity and message in turn symbolizes the definite, positive turning point that has clearly been reached between the two countries sharing a bitter and controversial colonial past.
Social change is being encouraged, accelerated and made reality by Prince Charles and his other half – or as he charmingly referred to her at a charity reception, his “Mehbooba”, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall through the “British Asian Trust”.
Founded in 2007 by a group of British Asian Business leaders, at the suggestion of none other than the Prince himself, the “British...

Sanjay Dutt and Ajay Devgn are buddies who are going through thick and thin together. When Ajay made his home production All The Best – Fun Begins, Sanju didn’t hesitate for a moment to join the cast. And when now Sanju finally launched his first home production (together with the producers Sanjay Ahluwalia and Vinay Choksey), it was Ajay who willingly supported his buddy and signed for the comedy Rascals directed by David Dhawan. Mostly shot in Bangkok and Phuket, Rascals is now set to be released at Dusserah on October 6, 2011.
Rascals is a comedy about the joys of conning where Sanjay Dutt and Ajay Devgn play two cool competing conmen trying to out-scheme each other in consistently amusing and surprising setups. But when both fall for the same girl (Kangna Ranaut), the competition reaches an all new level as both men constantly attempt to outwit each other to win over the surprisingly elusive Kangna!

Sanjay Dutt is in a desperate need or a hit. Except for his multi starrer All The Best which released last year, Sanjay hasn't tasted success for a long time, with Knock Out, Lamhaa, Aladin, Blue, Luck, Emi, Kidnap and Mehbooba failing at the box office. No wonder, when he ended up working with director Anees Bazmee, who promises a super-hit outing for his actors - case in point being Singh Is Kinng, Welcome and No Entry, he was mighty impressed with him. So much so that he ended...

Veteran actor Dharmendra was overwhelmed when he met his ‘Sholay’ co-stars Viju Khote and Asrani after 35 years on music reality show ‘Chhote Ustaad’.
Filmmaker Ramesh Sippy also accompanied the trio at the show that comes on Star Plus.
The 74-year-old got nostalgic as the contestants performed to the hit songs ‘Mehbooba O Mehbooba’, ‘Jab tak hai jaan’, ‘Yeh dosti’ and ‘Koi haseena jab’ from the film and said it reminded him of the places and time spent shooting the film.
He couldn’t contain his excitement when contestants Satinder and Shahid performed to ‘Main jat yamla pagla deewana’.

It drew its inspiration from multiple Hollywood movies but went on to become the quintessential Indian film, perfectly balancing drama and tragedy, romance and violence, comedy and action. This Aug 15 it will be 35 years since 'Sholay' was released - three decades and more of Gabbar, Jai, Veeru and Basanti still striking a chord.Sometimes described as an Indian curry western, 'Sholay' is still a reference point for Indian cinema and impossible to pin down to any one genre. It was about the undying friendship between Jai and Veeru, the unspoken love of a young widow, the exuberant romance between a garrulous 'tonga walli' and a flamboyant thief, the immensely tragic life of an idealistic police officer and, of course, Gabbar Singh, the dacoit who struck terror. It worked at many levels, and still does for generations of film-goers who watch the 1975 multi-starrer for the ultimate movie-going experience.
