Well, at least all the teenagers look nice spruced up for their formal. Straight hair actually seems to suit Bridget and Eloise Mignon once again does a fine job of portraying the wide-eyed teenager. There's another lengthy sequence of Dean Geyer and Caitlin Stasey showing off their singing talents but it's a nice character moment so we'll excuse it.
There's a flashback to Libby and Toadie as teenagers which is rather sweet but the fact Toadie is committing fraud suggests he hasn't thought about this at all.
The main problem with the episode, apart from Nicola once more being a less than exemplary role model, is the large amount of things which don't seem to make sense.Taylah is once more referred to as going to boarding school so how come she was at Erinsborough High last episode? How do Bridget and Chris get from the formal at the apparently-in-the-middle-of-nowhere-hall to Lassiter's so quickly? How did Taylah get to the formal-did Brad give her permission or did she sneak out? This one really should have been given more thought.
