Best in Faux gives us the townsfolk of Eureka in the throes of a dog competitive (Eureka-style), mysterious quakes plaguing the town, and last minute wedding preparations. Each plot element is more than a little quirky and off-key but the episode ultimately works. The addition of the fabulous Alan Ruck elevates this tale as well. The full story is very certainly worth more than the simple sum of its parts.
