pretty alright so far

Its pretty alright so far!

But i can't help but feel like it going way too fast , they try to combine multiple episodes into one and mix up the whole story. My guess would be not enough budget to remake all the episodes ( which i totally can understand because the original has 52 episodes and not many producers can pull that off these days)

however i'm still looking forward to this show airing !

Very good mahou shoujo that can stand on its own

2022 Tokyo Mew is another anime based on the manga Tokyo Mew Mew .I love both the 2002 anime and this one. Animation is very lovely,bubbly and fun. I have to admit my favorite voice actors were Yuuma Uchida as Aoyama and Nobuhiko Okamoto as Quiche. Both were amazing and stole the show. The girls were played by new voice actresses,while the guys had more voices. I like Ichigo a lot .The other girls also have their personalities,which shine through. The chemistry between Ichigo and Aoyama is subtle,not fiery or explosive ,but it is there. With 24 episodes and completed story,it definetely is worth watching.,with a great finale. Overall,will bring a sense of nostalgia,but strong enough to stand on its own.9/10.

Beautiful, emotional, polished

Very good reboot, it seems a little bit more rushed compared to the 2002 adaptation, but definitely feels more polished. 8/9 rating could be reasonable as well, but i am giving it a 10 since it made me cry two times. This was one of the first animes i ever watched, and the reboot still reflects that warm and positive charm that the first one had. The message is beautiful: friendships, love, maintaining our planet; sharing awareness about pollution, animals that are going extinct etc. I also very like that they edited the ending a little bit, made it more wholesome. All characters still have their unique characteristics, and have enough screentime even tho the main protagonists are Ichigo and Aoyoma.
