Jewel and Melissa Etheridge will be going on tour together this year.
Last Tuesday, the 90s icons announced their upcoming tour, which will have them go around the country to make stops in cities like Las Vegas, Los Angeles and St. Augustine, Florida.
The tour will last through most of the summer and it won’t end there, as it will continue through the beginning weeks of fall.
They are scheduled to kick off on July 11 in Bonner, Montana, and end in Rogers, Arkansas, on October 5.
The last time Jewel was on stage was last September in Lincoln, California. Etheridge, on the other hand, is currently preparing for her “I’m Not Broken” Tour, which begins in March and ends in April.
In December last year, Jewel and newly divorced Kevin Costner sparked dating rumors when they were spotted in the Virgin Islands.

The turn of the new millennium marked a realignment in both global politics and pop culture. September 11th and the seemingly endless wars that followed obliterated the illusion of relative peace and prosperity that, in the late 20th century, lulled much of the Western world into a sense of complacency. The Chicks were blacklisted for speaking out against George W. Bush’s military adventures. And the music industry was on the brink of collapse, rocked by the rise of Napster and the ensuing digital revolution.
Amid all of it, the teen-pop bubble of the late 1990s finally popped. By 2003, artists like Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake endeavored, with varying degrees of success, to break out of the Mouseketeer mold, while ostensibly edgier, more reputable young artists such as Avril Lavigne were packaged and sold as teen-pop with a Hot Topic twist. Lavigne’s success in particular had an audible influence,...

Jewel’s rendition of the Nation Anthem at the Indianapolis 500 is receiving wildly mixed reviews.
Jewel Kilcher, who is known for her songs such as “Intuition” and “You Were Meant For Me,” performed a slower and more “soulful” version of the anthem than the traditional one, leaving the audience sharply divided in their reactions.

On social media platforms, fans are fiercely debating the performance.
Some people enjoyed this version of the song, saying, “She knew all the lyrics and sang it beautifully. It was a lil different but she ain’t the first, won’t be last.”

If you grew up with mom of two-to-be Rihanna's chart-topping hits like "Shut Up and Drive" and "Umbrella" dominating your teenage years or you have a few Fenty Beauty lipsticks in your collection, you're probably fully aware of the influential impact she's made in the entertainment and beauty industries over the years. The Grammy-winning singer - who just announced her second pregnancy during her 2023 Super Bowl halftime show - is trendsetting and versatile - and she's proven her creativity in several outlets. Though talks about R9 are still developing (and probably even more delayed due to this new bundle), as you patiently wait, you can enjoy how the business tycoon showcases her talents and interests in other meaningful ways, like her size-inclusive and body-positive lingerie brand, Savage x Fenty.
Rihanna is one of the most recognizable celebrity faces, so you might think you know everything there is to know about the multitalented singer-turned-businesswoman,...

Getting back into the first-time host groove, this week’s “Saturday Night Live” brought in “Only Murders in the Building’s” Selena Gomez to do the honors.
Host: Selena Gomez
Selena Gomez’s monologue was quite charming, and by the end she had the live audience eating out the palm of her hand as she sang the “Barney” theme song. Seriously. She even bust out a solid Miley Cyrus impression, making for the first of two great “accent” moments in the episode from her. (The other was in “Irish Play.”)
Then after revealing the advice she got from her legendary co-stars and friends Steve Martin and Martin Short, Gomez set out to do what all “SNL” cast members hope the host will do: She tried to find romance. While the live audience definitely seemed to want her to end up with Punkie Johnson, sadly, that was not what the sketch “Intuition” ended up being about.

Country singer Billy Currington has emerged from wherever he goes for years at a time and dropped a surprise new album. The “People Are Crazy” singer’s seventh major-label release Intuition is out now and sees him tilting more toward the textures of Eighties synth-pop, dance music, and R&b.
Currington, whose most recent radio single was 2019’s “Details,” has never shied away from experimenting with different styles — “Must Be Doing Somethin’ Right” was sultry country-soul, “We Are Tonight” was an unabashedly U2-style arena-rock anthem, and “Pretty Good at...

Netflix has been doing a fantastic job of keeping May filled to the brim with some really excellent content. The streaming service is now home to such massive hits as the full Back to the Future trilogy, Adam Sandler’s surprisingly serious Uncut Gems, and season 2 of the hit show, Dead to Me. With so much to watch already, it often feels like overkill when Netflix drops even more great stuff to check out, but who are we to complain about having more of a good thing?
This week has already seen some solid content, but Netflix is adding 8 new movies and 4 new shows to sweeten the deal today. And although no one would look at you funny if you don’t recognize anything on the list, rest assured that there are a few things to keep an eye on.

After a weekend where an Adam Sandler film has, not for the first time, pulled in big audiences for the platform, the streamer’s giving us a chance to appreciate one of the actor’s more serious roles by releasing Uncut Gems. Other highlights coming up between May 24th and May 31st, meanwhile, include a new Jeffrey Epstein limited series and the debut of Space Force.
On the movie side, the Safdie brothers’ Uncut Gems arrives on Monday, May 25th, and is highly recommended for anyone that hasn’t yet a had a chance to take in the deep dive into pawnshops and bets gone wrong. Other film highlights include the Matthew McConaughey-starring The Lincoln Lawyer,...
