A DVD has been released in North America as of June 2009.
At the Joss Whedon Dr. Horrible Comic Con panel, Jed Whedon confirmed that there are vague plans in place for a Dr. Horrible sequel. When asked about the possibility of a next part to the series, Whedon said "The idea is that there will be another part, so were not going to tell you about it yet."
As of May 11, Nathan Fillion has also said that he knows the title of the sequel, but is unwilling to reveal it at this time. (http://thetvaddict.com/2009/05/11/nathan-fillion-talks-castle-dollhouse-dr-horrible/)

Wonderflonium is a fictional material used for the movie. It's not real, but its container warns against bouncing it. Its other properties remain unknown.
It has been heavily rumored that Sarah Michelle Gellar made a cameo as the girl in pink with rimmed glasses sitting next to Captain Hammer's groupies in Act III after a sarcastic comment by Whedon on the DVD commentary. Joss Whedon set the record straight with TVGuide and says that it was NOT actually her.
