    Attention grabbing, but slow

The show is drawn out, like any Netflix series. Anyone criticizing "the use of race" is only further proving the point that baseless allegations and wrongful convictions can and do exist. The stories are captivating and at most times incredibly tragic. A lot of these made my heart ache.

    Too slow, drawn out.

Like most neflix documentaries, too long winded, filling tv space. Tiger king was good piece of work but this like a lot Netflix shows you give up on.

    Not accurate for Mississippi today

Very interesting. Very slow and drawn out. Mississippi has a racist past and I'm sure there are part In which are still very racially divided. However, there was way too much emphasis placed on the racial context. Seven of the jurors were black. Please tell the story and stop making it out to be a filler for your story. These stories could be told in 30 minutes.

    Good start

A good start, setting up the scenario for the convictions and supporting evidence. Relevant interviews and archival footage. Pace is a bit slow.

"why all the race talk?" BECAUSE IT IS REAL

Look, it befuddles me that someone who chose to watch this show gets panties in a wad about "race talk." Damn, you have watched this and you don't understand? I'm a white middle-class southern woman, and I feel compelled to address this whiny "race talk" stuff. Oh, you do t like it being called out? Poor you. Race is critical because it affected the case, the investigation, the legal representation, and the need for The Innocence Files to work to exonerate man that had so much exculpatory evidence and who was failed by the entire system. So are the rules written by white people? SHOW ME SOMEWHERE IN THE US THAT ISN'T. Hell YES they are. And if you can't put away your sorry self-pity as you watch this egregiously poorly-done investigation.

    Get right.
