First episode was good. Then the show started to rush a bit but it was fine too. But as you see further episodes you will see that the fight scenes are never completed. The death scenes were so dull , they were not at all emotional and the reason behind it?? The pace of the story. Series would be best if it had 24 episodes.
But i loved the art style and the ending song of the series but still if we talk about story I'm not satisfied. The plot twist was good though.

Daisuke Kambe, a detective with an unlimited amount of money, joins the Modern Crime Prevention Headquarters. Rather than solving cases in a conventional manner, Kambe mostly solves them using his money and other materialistic things. This greatly annoys Haru Kato, his partner.
If I talk about the storyline, the anime takes time to introduce the setup and the various characters. The plot starts progressing somewhere around the 5th episode. Nevertheless, even in the initial episodes, we are being constantly given hints regarding what we are going to see in the upcoming arcs. But it was around 5th episode or so, do we realise that the show is not something like Detective Conan or the File of young Kindaichi. In fact, the plot mainly revolves around the main and the recurring characters only, the detectives. They are directly and very much involved in the incidents or the cases, which this anime intends to follow. The show makes you curious and impatiently wait for the next episode. Till the very end, it remains unpredictable. Despite the twists, the ending is very subtle yet satisfying.

For the first few episodes, he looks perfect and almost at the God-level but after couple of episodes, we gradually get to see his human side as well. Alright, so I finished this show today. Let me tell you I liked the first 4 or 5 episodes, I loved the dynamic between Kambe and Katou. Now I need to explain why I didn't like the show as much as I wanted to. So, I expected this show to play off the dynamic between the two main characters and they go try and solve and case and the show just repeats.. like its own formula ya know? But it doesn't do that, like sure the two main characters do interact but I expected more funny scenes?? Something with Kambe doing something stupid and Katou is like bro wth is wrong with you.
Instead the show decides to heavily focus on a certain case in the middle of the show and make it work for the rest of the episodes?? And to me it didn't really pull that off, it's like oh yeah this case uhh here's a little info episode ends. Here's more info and a new character, episodes ends. It felt a little too much for me?? I wanted more of the main duo to not see eye to eye and make it work for the rest of the Season. Am I being too harsh? I don't know, but that's why I can't give it a higher rating.. as some people said it does feel a little rushed.

There are only 2 episodes so far and i love it! The animation, music and plot ;) is really good and entertaining. I dont know why it has so low rating right Now (7,6), i think it deserves at least an 8. I m really looking forward to the next episodes, this anime really thrills you.

To be honest, watching this series was such a unique experience, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The MCs solve various crimes at the beginning of the show to help acclimate viewers before introducing the major plotline later on. Daisuke and the overall idea of Balance Unlimited appeal immediately. His self-satisfied smirk, which makes it difficult to dislike him, never gets old to me when he throws money around to fix his issues.
In actuality, one of my top three favorite male characters right now is Daisuke. This series features some really amazing characters. But Kato and Daisuke are unquestionably the show's high point.

"The Millionaire Detective" tells the story of two detectives who couldn't be more different. Kato is down-to-earth and honest, while Kambe is the heir to an extremely wealthy family whose bank balance is "unlimited".
The anime is pretty average in my opinion.
I liked a few things, but there were also things that struck me as rather negative.
I'll start with the positive aspects: First of all, the anime has a very beautiful and unique drawing style. The character design is also very positive.
The plot twist at the end also surprised me, even if it's not really the best.
I've read a lot of reviews that are also positive about the animation, but I can't really agree with that. The animation isn't bad, but it's not incredibly good either. It just serves its purpose.
On the one hand, the negative aspects for me are the English dubbing, because it often just sounded flat and monotonous. The anime was also too short with 11 episodes. They should have taken more episodes to deepen the relationship between Kato and Kambe. Because it wasn't that deep, some scenes seemed overly emotional.
But all in all, the anime is worth watching.

This series was such a good experience. Art style and the Characters design are really good.
If you love watching thriller detective anime. This one is for you. The characters were plot addictive. Especially the opening and drawing are perfect. One of the most entertaining anime.
The Main characters are so good. Especially Daisuke. He is very handsome , smart and the richest anime character I have ever seen.
Hope there's a season 2. It's really fun to watch.

This show has been so entertaining involving the journey of two polar opposites - a stone face millionaire taking revenge on his mother's death and a smart cheeky loud mouth who is a ordinary bloke. Both of which partner up to be badass detectives. I found this anime really difficult to distinguish if it's the anime of the year or if its a bit of downer. However I gotta be honest here, 11 friggin episodes doesn't do justice(see what I did there ;D) to make up a great story like I felt the ending was rather too rushed and tbh, the damn other cops working for Haru and Daisuke (except for Cho-San and Takei) are so friggin annoying. Plus they are just literally dumb and useless man! I mean yeah, have a tiny sprinkle of comedy but the jokes they crack open, don't crack open enough.
But that doesn't stop me giving this a chance for season 2 and loving the theme songs in this (honestly love the op and the closing). If you're into the buddy cop genre, go watch this anime folks!

Balance:Unlimited is probably one of the freshest shows I've seen in a while. I really can't think of any anime to compare it to, that I've seen at least. The closest comparison I could come up with is James Bond meets mission impossible with a little bit of Rush Hour. If you're interested in any of those franchises, you need to be watching this.
It's a consistently entertaining and fun show with over the antics, cool characters and a surprisingly good plot/mystery. The first few episodes kind of make it feel like a villain of the week type set up with the two detectives solving cases, apprehending criminals and a light tone, but once you get about halfway through the series the story really gets going and starts to shine.
Cloverworks have yet to disappoint me with their character designs, animation and quality production and Balance:Unlimited is no exception. Character models stay on point throughout and when the show calls for it, the action scenes are great. I think the OST for this one is also quite underrated, it adds a lot to the atmosphere of several scenes.
Overall, Balance:Unlimited has been one of my fave shows of the year, it's a shame the COVID 4 month delay took some of the wind out of its sails, but for those of us who did get to watch it, I think we all enjoyed.

Looking at the ratings here and some other places, I was expecting the show to be a bummer, but now that I have completed it, I am confused about the same. It had everything a crime thriller should have, even more than that rather. Especially, the last few episodes were a roller coaster ride, I was on edge all the time! The art, music, animation - loved it all. I think one place that many people think its lacking in, is the relationship between the two MCs. Well, this show is quite different form the classical detective movies that we are used to, one of the reasons being this very dynamic between the two. I was actually glad we weren't shown the 'expected' bond between them but rather something unique that not everyone can understand the depth of. It made the show more realistic too as you shouldn't really expect two rather opposite people to become best buddies out of the blue anyways.
In all I really enjoyed watching, huge thanks to the creators of this show and everyone involved in its making.

Although it is bereft of complex plot points or any kind of depth in that matter, it makes up for all of its flaws through its charming characters. Along with that, its flashy animation and gimmicky action scenes are enough to make you stick around
