    Awful

When you give the worst character of the show so much screen time and make her the main character of an episode, you know that the episode is going to be terrible. And it is. Rose is an awful, annoying character, not funny in the least. Her character never worked and the more screen time she has, the worse an episode gets. The plot is completely nonsensical. Yes, this is a sitcom, not a documentary, but even sitcoms need to have some basis in reality and this episode has none.

Charlie's family is also absolutely awful here, and pretty much out of character in service of the awful, nonsensical plot. Jokes are lame and unfunny.

Bottom line - the less we see of Rose and Evelyn, the better. Every episode of this show is a testament to that.

And just as a thought experiment, I wonder if people who think that this episode is great would think the same if roles were reversed and Charlie (or any man) did to Rose (or any woman) the same thing she did to him here. I can hear the screeching already.
