Sex & Nudity

- A man and woman flirt while at a restaurant.
- 2 brief kisses.
- A women is shown in a long towel (down to her knees) and moves across the room to pick things up in one brief scene.
Violence & Gore

- A rich guy has his help put in a syringe in his arm for him, the help messes up, gets smacked in his face to the ground, and the rich guy keeps violently kicking his help while on the ground untill the bodyguard drags the help away.
- A very graphical and realistic drowning takes place. The movie shows the process above and under water, you see the guy being drowned make a shudder at the end.
- A guy is being slowly and sadistically killed with a knife.
- The violence is brutal with many gun, fist, and knife fights throughout.
- Some blood is seen, but this is only from gunshot wounds, and in one scene when a man hits another man across the face with brass knuckles.
- In the introductory scene, Jack is seen in a helicopter. The enemy fires a missile at the helicopter, sending it crashing. He is later seen with a bloody face and an almost broken his spine (it is fixed).
- A woman is slapped across the face and threatened to be tortured.
Profanity

- Jack offers prescription drugs to a man. Fakes taking it himself.
- A few people drink wine at a restaurant.
- One man sticks himself with a syringe, however this is assumed to be prescription for his advanced cirrhosis.
- In a dinner scene alcohol is consumed. Jack Ryan gets 'drunk' in order to complete a mission.
Frightening & Intense Scenes

- The main character is often in danger or being pursued.
- A missile hits a helicopter, and the camera shows footage of the inside of the helicopter as it happens. Later, one of the survivors is seen bloody and injured in a care unit.
- A man stabs another man, it is sudden.
