I seriously don't understand the low ratings for this drama. The acting plot and how it unfold is all so good. I would have given 10 if they elaborated the ending a bit more with some more joy.

This has everything I could ever hope for, the plot, setting and storytelling. The way how it portrays afterlife and reincarnation is so deep and sentimental.
I'm a Buddhist and I believe in reincarnation., I have seen many people reincarnated from the past lives, including myself. I knew certain things without learning. I spoke to my parents in another language when I was 4 ( without learning it from anyone) I had certain scars on my body and I could tell my parents about them when I was 7. There are just many things that we can't scientifically explain. So I will just stop right here, and enjoy watching this drama. I'm now at episode 10 and i got hooked. Amazing storyline and actors. Strongly recommend!

The reason I could not give this kdrama a 10 star was I'm very upset over the ending. But this was a fantastic drama from the acting to the music. I was glued the whole time. Huge shout out to the ever so beautiful Lee Soo Hyuk for his stellar acting. I'd watch all over again just for him! Well done!!!

One of the poorest past-life/reincarnation written stories. I can't stress enough how sloppy and incoherent this was. The entire drama was solely driven by this triangle which is why most things were neglected. I was expecting a smart play between the characters and their reincarnation but what we got is a copy paste between past and present. At the same time, the memories from the past played a minimal role in the grand scheme of things. The characters from the past had the exact same traits as their present counterparts, which made things ever so slightly more dull. I don't know what the writer was aiming for because all I see is failure in all directions. I couldn't get over the fact that they treated the direct point-blank bullet to the head ordeal like a casual broken bone with minor scuffs!!!
At its heart, it's a story about how the past shapes our present, how love can transcend time, and how people can be bound by the unresolved events of their past lives.
This drama completely took me by surprise-I enjoyed it so much more than I expected, especially in the latter half. It starts off slow, but once the pieces start falling into place, it becomes an intense mix of mystery, reincarnation, and psychological drama.
Jang Ki-yong absolutely owns his role. His character goes through one of the most complex and layered transformations I've seen in a drama for a long time; evolving from a cold, calculated sociopath into someone far more complicated. The way he shifts between being two completely different roles is so well done.
Lee Soo-hyuk, meanwhile, is a perfect contrast. He embodies the brooding, emotionally burdened character well, though he can feel a bit stiff at times. While his performance is subtle and effective, I sometimes wished for a little more warmth to balance out his cold intensity.
The female lead, Jung Sa-bin, unfortunately, falls into the "helpless and naive" trope a bit too much. While her role is crucial to the story, her innocence feels exaggerated compared to the much more nuanced performances around her.
The pacing is on the slower side, but that works in the drama's favor, allowing for deep character development and emotional build-up. If you love dark, psychological K-dramas with intense character arcs-especially Jang Ki-yong's masterful transformation-this one is absolutely worth the watch.
