In the last few days, I have watched some really good trailers to be honest. There is this upcoming Telugu horror comedy Subham that tops the list, followed by Rajkummar Rao’s Bhool Chook Maaf, Pune Highway, and more. Then, out of nowhere, my feed surprises me with a Romeo S3 trailer starring Thakur Anoop Singh and Palak Tiwari!
We have always segregated films into two clean areas – the Good and the bad. There are also two sub-sections to them – the commercial masala and the artsy ones! But these days, there is another type – the mixed breeds, where you just cannot understand what is happening because it is a copy of too many films at once!
Romeo S3, however, in its entirety, is a blend of Singham Lite and Simmba Superlite!

There is a redemptive quality to this bio-pic. A doctor who incepted many dreams of fertility for wailing wombs is given a film all to his own. And that’s reason enough for the lately-fallen Vikram Bhatt to pull up his socks and switch from horror to healing.
Not that Tumko Meri Kasam is a grand masterpiece, far from it. Some portions in the first half are so clunky that I feared for the well-being of the end product. However, Bhatt seems to embrace his mellow route responsibly. Vikram Bhatt not only takes up a subject that is true life and potentially inspiring, but he also suffuses the narrative with ample evidence of his own healing process.

Not that Tumko Meri Kasam is a grand masterpiece, far from it. Some portions in the first half are so clunky that I feared for the well-being of the end product. With the global hit reality format “The Traitors” set for an Indian adaptation hosted by Karan Johar and the highly anticipated third season of “The Family Man” in the works, Prime Video India is doubling down on both international formats and homegrown hit franchises.
In an exclusive interview with Variety, Nikhil Madhok, head of Indian originals at Prime Video and Amazon MGM Studios, revealed the streamer’s ambitious content strategy that balances returning franchises with fresh originals while expanding into theatrical releases for select productions.
“We’re most excited about the third season of ‘The Family Man,’ which just finished shooting. We expect to launch it sometime in the second half of the year,” Madhok said. “It’s been a flagship show for Prime Video, and people have been asking us for the last couple of years. It’s taken us a little longer than originally envisaged to get this new season going.

The Great Indian Kapil Show, on its seventh episode of season 2, welcomed the team of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, director Anees Bazmee, lead actor Kartik Aaryan, and the Manjulikas Triptii Dimri and Vidya Balan. However, the episode, despite such a vibrant cast of a horror comedy, never took off!
The entire episode, despite some great innovations for characters like Krushna Abhishek’s Wallahdin (brother of Aladin) and Kiku Sharda’s Jinn, fell flat for lack of punches. In fact, even guests as engaging as Kartik and Vidya could not have saved this disaster.
In fact, I am still figuring out whatever happened in this episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show since it was so random and haphazard that there was no trajectory or graph that could point out that the show started losing it at this instant.
