After six long weeks of competition, both separate groups of costumed celebrities finally merged together during Wednesday’s seventh episode of “The Masked Singer.” Alien, Bee, Lion, Monster, Peacock and Rabbit all sang live for the studio audience as well as judges Nicole Scherzinger, Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy and Robin Thicke and guest panelist J.B. Smoove. As is tradition, at the end of the episode the weakest performer was forced to unmask for America, revealing their true identity. So how did it all play out?

Episode 4 of “The Masked Singer” brought back the five celebrities from week 2 who had survived the audience vote. Among these was the Rabbit. We had thought that based on his first performance and the set of clues he provided that it was Joey Fatone of the boy band Nsync. Since we broke that news, he has issued a denial.
So who is hiding behind that bunny costume? Take a look at his take on Avicii‘s “Wake Me Up” in the video above and then scroll down for a spoiler as to his true identity.
Forget those red herrings in week 2 by judges Nicole Scherzinger and Ken Jeong that the Rabbit is not a professional singer. We are all but certain that the Rabbit is Fatone’s one-time band mate, Jc Chasez.

Fox’s reality TV show “The Masked Singer” revealed its fourth celebrity at the end of Wednesday’s episode that welcomed back five costumed characters for encore performances: Alien, Bee, Poodle, Rabbit and Raven. Unfortunately, Poodle ended up being voted out by the studio audience and judges Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy, Nicole Scherzinger, Robin Thicke and guest Joel McHale, so she had to unmask himself in dramatic fashion (watch above). Did You guess that it was actually actress/comedian Margaret Cho inside the Poodle costume singing Cyndi Lauper‘s “Time After Time”?

“I loved being on ‘The Masked Singer,” Margaret declared after the credits rolled. “It was so exciting to be hidden behind everything. I really am good friends with Ken Jeong. I played his sister on his TV show. I’m really glad that people got to see a different side to who I am.

Fox’s oddball, already-smash-hit celebrity singing game show “The Masked Singer” returned Wednesday, revealing at the end of its fourth episode that the identity of one of its famous contestants — who performed Cyndi Lauper’s “Time After Time” disguised from head to toe in an elaborate Poodle costume — was none other than comedian Margaret Cho.
This episode saw the returns of Raven, Alien, Poodle, Bee and Rabbit. Each performed solo in succession, rather than in sing-offs, which was the format showrunner Izzie Pick Ibarra told TheWrap the show would be following after Week 2
Next, it was time for panelists Jenny McCarthy, Nicole Scherzinger, Ken Jeong and Robin Thicke and guest panelist Joel McHale, along with the studio audience, to choose which member of the group was the “weakest performer,” who would then be eliminated and unmasked. And that ended up being poor Poodle.

“The Masked Singer” is a huge hit for Fox because it is so much fun to try and guess the true identity of the celebrities clad in costumes while they perform hit tunes. Before each star takes their turn in the spotlight, a short video is shown that is packed full of clues as to who is hiding behind those oversized masks.
The producers of the show have done an outstanding job at keeping a lid on leaks as to the names of the famous folk taking part. But they didn’t realize they would have to deal with someone near and dear to one of these stars spilling the truth in a nationally televised interview.
Read on if you want for a spoiler on the Peacock.

Episode three of “The Masked Singer” saw the return of the five celebrities from the premiere who had won enough votes to continue on in this hit reality competition series. In order of appearance on Wednesday’s episode they were the Lion, Deer, Peacock, Unicorn and Monster. Despite the Deer’s best efforts on the Florida Georgia Line hit song “Get Your Shine On,” he lost the audience vote and was revealed to be NFL superstar Terry Bradshaw.
The other four acts will be back in two weeks time to sing again. But we can’t wait until then to find out the identity of one more of them. So we’ve been watching their clues videos and analyzing the comments of the judges. We think we have a spoiler as to each of their real selves. The third episode of “The Masked Singer” on January 16 brought back the five acts from the premiere — Peacock, Monster, Unicorn, Deer and Lion — who had won enough votes to stay in the competition. Once again they performed an elaborate production number while covered from head to toe in a costume. One of them, the Deer, did not earn enough support to stay in the competition and was revealed to be NFL great Terry Bradshaw. But we still don’t know who the other four are.
Before taking to the stage to sing “Counting Stars” by OneRepublic, the Peacock offered up several more clues as to his identity. Those, coupled with the ones he gave on the first episode on Jan 2, have us convinced that we have unearthed a spoiler and know who is hiding behind all those feathers: Donny Osmond.

“When I stepped out on that stage for the first time, I loved being able to perform without anyone knowing who I was,” Peacock admitted in the third episode of “The Masked Singer.” He continued, “It was absolutely exhilarating and I felt like I was five years old again.” For his encore performance, Peacock took on OneRepublic‘s “Counting Stars” and wowed judges Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy, Nicole Scherzinger and Robin Thicke. Watch the performance above.
In the “clues” portion of Fox’s reality TV show, Peacock stated, “This show appealed to me so much because I’ve had so many different incarnations of my career and everyone thinks they know me. “Breaking Bad” creator Vince Gilligan has extended his stay at Sony Pictures Television for another three years.
The renewal of Gilligan’s overall deal is a win for the studio at a time when A-list showrunners are being heavily courted by Netflix and other streaming services for exclusive production pacts. Gilligan, creator and showrunner of the renowned “Breaking Bad” and co-creator and exec producer of its prequel, “Better Call Saul,” is among TV’s most sought-after showrunners and creators.
Gilligan and his High Bridge Prods. banner have been based at Sony Pictures TV for the past 11 years. With singular Netflix cyberpunk series Altered Carbon, production designer Carey Meyer spent over two years in contemplation of an incredibly complex sci-fi world, figuring out how he would bring scope, texture, and authenticity to the project.
Based on an acclaimed novel by Richard K. Morgan, Altered Carbon is set in the three-tiered megalopolis Bay City in the year 2384. As it happens, this awe-inspiring city epitomizes the depth and intelligence of Laeta Kalogridis’ series, which must also be broken down on multiple levels.
Set in a world where human consciousness can be stored on ‘stacks’—or miniature disks implanted in the neck—Altered Carbon follows Takeshi Kovacs (Joel Kinnaman), a political operative brought back from death after 250 years to crack a murder case. Above and beyond plot, the series is a meditative sociological portrait, examining the consequences of technological evolution in a world where the 1% has become the .1%.

If there is any task I truly hate as the editor of AfterElton.com, it's having to deal with the Hot 100 every year. The sheer torture of having to check each and every one of your Hot 100 comments for the photos of hot guys you have posted is excruciating.
