Gene Kelly was an actor, singer, dancer, director, producer, and screenwriter who was highly remembered for starring in Singin' in the Rain (1952) and for playing d'Artagnan in The Three Musketeers (1948). He also held the distinction of being the first actor to appear with an animated character on film when he danced with Jerry of Tom & Jerry fame in 1945 movie Anchors Aweigh.
