Everything is enoyable anout this ep except for one character

Warning: Spoilers
This episode is even better than their mid-season finale, which was (in my opinion), hard to top considering the starting episodes weren't as good. The entire MESS is so messy and intertwined that it's so entertaining. I missed the original series but this def made me realize this GG has its own ground to stand.

Okay, won't spoil anything anymore but ZOYA, in this episode, is annoying. Her character keeps moving 1 step forward, and then 2 backwards. Like, you think she'll do one thing - but the writers keep controlling her. Her decisions don't make sense. Like they want her to be likable BUT alao so annoying? She wants to change but she can't. If that's the intent, then it's effective but it's bizarre to me.

And then another missing one is that the 2 SIDEKICKS are missing in action. I truly think Zoya's minions may have small roles to play but are so essential in making an episode more entertaining!!

Delicious Messy Nonsense
rhodes-chad9026 November 2021
This episode was clearly developed with the intention of recreating one of the messiest episodes of the original series and this was a valiant effort. The curation of drama that was exposed this Thanksgiving is one for the books.

EXCELLENT Episode That Captures The Original's Drama
mystichills25 November 2021
I have a lot of thoughts about this episode. One of them is how this episode blew away my low expectations. This episode really redeemed itself from the disaster that is Part A. The anxiety, the antics, the drama - This episode has it all. I was on the edge of my seat during the dinner scene. It really just didn't disappoint from long line of Gossip Girl thanksgiving episodes.

Perfect juicy drama

This is by far the best episode in the season, this is the essence of the OG show. Lots of characters (with unique characteristics), lots of drama (like so much that you have to be very attentive while watching), and the most important thing, it lives you with desire of watching the next epidose. Please kee doing episodes like this one.

One character ruins the show. Hint, it's Z

I found watching the new reboot to be enjoyable. Although I found most of the characters to be fascinating and well-written, Zoya came out as the most annoying, entitled, and socially obtuse character in the show. Maybe the reboot wanted to make Z the new Dan, but Z's aggressive moral superiority and untimely outspokenness have made her the worst character in the show.

The best episode so far.

This reboot couldn't capture the magic of the original series. And they failed at making the kids stuff as good as the grown ups. Which is why this episode is so good. It focuses more on the parents and professors, and that was a real treat. The way they are portrayed, has a soft parody feel to the OG series, which prevents this 2.0 version to completely fall flat. Had the « heroes » bickering and sleeping around, been the only juicy stuffs happening. The Julien and Zoya feud is so typical of sisters, it's bland and annoying. And can't capture Serena and Blair's frenemy aura. But the fathers baggage they share, make up for it. The rest is ok, and free of woke cringe, in this episode at least. Yet this new version seems to be suffering the same thing as other reboots. When it's biting off more than it can chew.

This series is insanely bad....

Warning: Spoilers
This entire reboot is just so forced and poorly written. The characters and storylines are not flowing well at all. It's like every episode the writers just throw a bunch of dramatic scenes onto the screen and expect viewers to love it....

The dinner scene was honestly cringe, it just kept going on and on, and they were saying just every and anything in front of the entire group of people at the table.

That's how everyone finds out about the threesome with Audrey, Max, and Aki??? Aki just flat out said it in front of his mom, friends, strangers... Max just flat out exposed his relationship with Rafa in front of everyone.

Julien and Obie just told everyone they slept together...?

Like how is this Gossip Girl, if GG is irrelevant...? They all just tell on themselves. It's like there's too many characters too soon and they barely have depth.

There's just so many inconsistencies and issues with this series idk if it could ever recover...

The episode is perfectly summed up by the three surprised faces when Max somehow pulls out a small to medium sized dog out of his coat pocket, without realizing it had been there for quite some time. Nothing makes sense here, quite possibly the worst bit of television I've seen in some time.
