Director made ever mistake possible

Please ignore the only other review on here. I'm sure they gave it 10/10 because they were somehow involved with this garbage heap.

1. There is no gore. The kills are the most basic little stabbings with very little effects.

2. The acting is awful. I've seen 4th grade plays do better.

3. Day for night . .. do I need to continue listing the awful mistakes that every director should know not to do by now?

4. The music . . .I think they hired a local garage band to make both "exciting metal" and "eerie ambiance". Neither is good, and they are frequently cut hard and awkwardly.

5. Speaking of cuts, frequent hard cuts between scene transitions is jarring.

6. There is no plot. Kid kills people in first 5 minutes, you know he is crazy, and as soon as he gets out of the nuthouse (within 10 minutes) he winks to the camera.

7. Boring. Its just plain boring.

More On-Screen Guttings Than a Scream Movie!!!

Homecoming Massacre was a nice surprise. I was expecting a gore and boob fest, and while yes, those things are there, this is actually a movie with heart and a real story.

After a horrific opening sequence, we are presented with a family drama about mental illness, addiction, and loss that slowly morphs into a 3rd act bloodbath.

This flick serves up some unique kills with the killer clown using an array of found weapons, but always relying on his custom gnarly blade to gut his victims, slit their throats, and mutilate them beyond recognition.

I totally recommend this one goes on your shelf next to the other horror classics.

Gore
blondietimestwo4 November 2022
This indie film, measuring at just over 90 minutes is filled with horror and gore as we follow Jonathan, Derrik Wynn, on a murderous rampage throughout his hometown.

This passion project came out just in time for Halloween to excite us and draw us in to Jonathan's word of mayhem.

The character that stood out was Pam, Lisa Kwon, as she brought a fresh realism to the film. She was the one who made this slasher film more blockbuster. And also because of her I do believe this film would be rated R.

The care that went into editing is evidence as the film falls into place.

Make sure to Enjoy the various locations of this film.
