If you listen closely, distant dog barks can be heard in the opening credits. This is in fact Hugo, the lovable dog of Tori Hartley (Ali). He was so admired while on set, sound editor Chris Bourland suggested he insert his barks into the film during post production.
Principal photography was delayed twice due to COVID-19 until finally being shot over the course of four nights in June 2020.
The film's budget was completely crowdfunded.
