The Final Days of Owen Hart

Lots of it is pretty vague and they avoid answering most questions. Owen Hart fell to his death because his harness somehow didn't work. Yet we are not told what happened or why he fell. We are not told why a big company failed the security check. And later his wife sues the wrestling company and claims she didn't do it for the money and wanted to go to court yet they settled anyhow? What happened? Why not interview other people? Also, she claims that his family went against her and attacked her lawsuit. But keep in mind she removed his image from the wrestling company and forbade them from putting him into hall of fame. So you can understand why they are so bitter. A guy worked his whole life to become a wrestler. Something that is extremely hard to archive in life. And he became one of the best wrestlers. And then after he dies the wife refuses the company to use his videos or fights or promote him. Of course many wrestling fans are bitter about this. He is now a forgotten wrestler. Obviously his family are not happy about this. And wrestling fans who like him are very unhappy too even though they of course 100% blame the company for his death. Him being forgotten also lets the company off the hook in many ways.

Overall I feel like the documentary doesn't explain what happened. And unfortunately it only takes the side of the wife. I support her in her monetary lawsuit for sure. But I don't support her fight to have Owen Hart be forgotten as a wrestler. His brother meanwhile still works for the company and is a great legend. You can access his videos and fights easily. This is how it should be. He dislikes the company as it's evil and brutal. But he still gains something from them and gets by on the paychecks from them. Now an older injured man married to a young attractive woman. Obviously without the image he would just be a broken man with no income. That's not better for him or anyone else.
