Well, I can't remember where I heard of this movie or why I felt compelled to check it out. However, I can't even tell if there was a script or a plot or what was happening. The dialogue was non-sensical. Only the Ashley character seemed to pick a believable way to portray her character. Everything else was just flat and awkward

It had potential

I thought I'd enjoy this, but I went into it expecting too much. It's a light Christmas comedy horror. It has a little bit of gore, but it's not creepy, scary or shocking.

It started out with quirky characters and the potential to take the plot somewhere interesting. It was engaging and I was interested to see how it would come together. It became pretty cliche though, and when it ended I felt like I'd wasted my time. It might have been ok if I hadn't expected it to have a good twist or to have some kind of unsettling impact.

If you watch it, go in with low expectations and enjoy the fun characters.

Well, the description on amazon was totally incorrect and for another film. This is a film about nothing that just makes you cringe with terrible acting the whole way through. No real storyline. Absolute waste of time, I kept thinking it would get better but it didn't. Literally one of the worst things I have ever seen...

Just dumb choices

So I'm taking it that the main male character had a break, or harbors underlying psychosis. But even then, the other characters just make bad choices that exacerbate the situation. Simple plot given much too much space to unwind, leading to a nothing. Avoid if you can't tolerate independent and unanswered films.

Awkward awkward awkward

So like I said, oh, so awkward. The main characters' relationship is just... not a relationship. The girlfriend's acting is beautiful, she's very talented, the actor who plays the boyfriend on the other hand, this is not your area. Sometimes I genuinely want to punch him through the TV. Now, it might be because of the bad script writing, but wow, he's not great. The jokes are just poor quality dad jokes. The trailer was completely misleading, glad we wasted a coupon code rather than paying six bucks for this thing.

Seriously, wtf.... this movie was so bad.... I wanted to give it a chance, as I always do with any movie that starts off weird, or crappy, but this was just bad. I don't even get what it's trying to be. - it's def not horror- and it's a tiny bit comedy... maybe they were going for a dark comedy?!?¿¿. None of it worked, believe me.... it was just like a long, monotone- never ending skit. It stayed crappy from beginning to middle to the end. I can't believe this isn't free on any channel and they expect people to pay for it. Please don't waste ur money on this (and time of your life that you will never get back).

Wasted potential but still interesting

A little awkard from the start it does get better as the plot reaches climax. The dialogue is poorly written at times, there are awkard pauses in editing and it feels really slow and uninteresting at times but probably still worth watching as it is an interesting attempt of portraying someone having some sort of a mental breakdown that is triggered by a person from the past. The main character is so irritating that you wanna keep watching, as you're unable to tell if it's bad acting or a masterful rendering of an anti-hero.

At first, I sort of enjoyed the awkward humor and dad jokes littered throughout the movie, but I quickly realized that it would take a lot more than a few stupid laughs to save this train wreck from a cinematic mass murder of its audience. Not only is every single character in this movie completely insufferable, the plot line makes absolutely no sense. A horribly demanding and presumptuous woman, Ashley, and her painfully oblivious boyfriend, Sam, take a vacation to his hometown. They meet his equally oblivious but also overly-assertive childhood friend who is alluded to being a murderer. After a gauntlet of poorly illustrated human interactions and terrible performances from the actors, you find out that Sam is crazy and murdered his girlfriend ten years before, and he's going to kill Ashley now because he doesn't want kids? Nothing in this movie built up to this revelation, and it feels like it was a last-minute decision made by the writer in an attempt to give this dumpster-fire some direction. I tried to give this move the benefit of the doubt by seeing it through until the end, but by that time I wish all of the characters would have jumped into the icy river. Unless you enjoy feeling ill and unsatisfied, or you enjoy watching trash movies, don't waste your time with this garbage. I would really like to know whom I should speak with to get the last hour of my life back.

There aren't many movies like this. It's super funny, surprisingly dark, and sneaky amazingly shot. Watch it.

What do you do when having a serious conversation with your GF about taking your relationship to the next level? Joke about your unit and ana! Seriously the script is so horrible I only got about 20 mins in. I regret all of them.

I wanted to like the movie, but the storyline was all over the place. The main characters need more development I believe. I don't even know what genre this would be considered but not horror.....maybe dark "comedy"?

Unless you are a fan of bad, I mean awful totally abysmal trash, you will regret knowing this exists. Do you like May the movie? This is no where near that type of "bad" (the kind that's actually kinda good if you ignore the acting and hear the story). This has a weak plot (easy to figure out the story in the first two scenes), okay acting (except for the killer) and decent cinematography.

Save your time unless you are looking to kill some then yourself.... Jajaja ok it's not that bad, or is it.

This came up on my DVR que as a "Christmas" movie. Really?! LMAO! I'd like to think a Christmas movie would be more like a Hallmark or Lifetime movie. The house was empty, yet decorated for Christmas with the lights still on. Who does that? It's also labeled as a comedy but the jokes are terrible, hackneyed and weak! The acting is horrible, especially by the "lead" actor. I could see who the real killer was from a mile away! I did like the Nolan character; he seemed a little more realistic than the others. I thought about deleting it but was too curious about how it would end. Well, without spoiling it, it was also hackneyed and weak! It "cut deep" into to my time!

This is a very good movie with a simple but effective plotline. I was very surprised with the low rating because I really enjoyed this movie. This is criminally underrated and I would recommend that you watch it.
