‘Teen Wolf’ Movie And ‘Wolf Pack’ Series Get Release Dates On Paramount Plus

The “Teen Wolf” movie has a premiere date!

The anticipated film, which members of the original cast, will drop Thursday, Jan. 26, 2023 on Paramount+ in the U.S. and Canada, it was announced Friday at New York Comic Con. It will be available on the streaming service the following day on Friday, Jan. 27 in the U.K., Latin America and Australia.

Release dates for other international territories will be announced later.

During the panel, which included original stars Tyler Posey, Holland Roden, Shelley Hennig, Crystal Reed, Colton Haynes, Vince Mattis, Khylin Rhambo, Amy Workman and Dylan Sprayberry, the first official clip from “Teen Wolf: The Movie” was released.

Paramount+’s two werewolf projects – Wolf Pack and Teen Wolf: The Movie – hosted back-to-back panels at the 2022 New York Comic Con. Both supernatural projects will debut on Paramount+ on January 26, 2023, but only one features the Chosen One herself, Sarah Michelle Gellar.

The Buffy the Vampire Slayer star joined her fellow Wolf Pack series co-stars Rodrigo Santoro, Armani Jackson, Bella Shepard, Chloe Rose Robertson, and Tyler Lawrence Gray, as well as Teen Wolf creator and Wolf Pack writer/executive producer Jeff Davis, for a lively half-hour discussion at Nycc.

“I was pretty amazed, actually, because I said to them, ‘We’re not going to get Sarah Michelle Gellar. She’s not even going to read it,’” recalled Davis. Fortunately for Davis, Gellar not only read it but signed on to play the key role of Kristin Ramsey in the series.

Well, hot damn, y'all: Sarah Michelle Gellar is returning to the horror genre on TV, and now there's a trailer here to prove it. You may have heard about "Wolf Pack," the upcoming spin-off of "Teen Wolf". However, with all the news coming out of San Diego Comic-Con this summer, it would be easy for a tidbit like Gellar's involvement in "Wolf Pack" to slip through the cracks. Fortunately, there's another convention happening this week, New York Comic Con, which has brought the first teaser trailer for "Wolf Pack."

Paramount+ has set a January 2023 premiere date for its upcoming original series Wolf Pack. The streamer also released the official teaser trailer and announced eight additional cast members for the series, written and produced by Jeff Davis, during the show’s panel Friday at New York Comic Con.
