Strange
pskurrie-2849614 March 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Why does Asta get jealous over her ex at the bowling alley. It really doesn't make sense as to why she'd be jeaous of a drunken abuser. why the mixed messages? Harrys Ex is strange too. When she first appeared she wanted him to sign the divorce papers and he'd been delaying it. Then suddenly she didn't want to? Why? Oh, and the female Alien investigator is an absolute pain. Rude, pushy and disrespectful. Awful character. Apart from the above, loving this show. A real gem. Funny, quirky, beautiful cinematograph, just a great mix with a great concept. Well done to all involved. Hopefully they don't try to extend its life by coming up with silly storylines.

Probably the best episode so far!

"The Green Glow" might be my favorite episode of the series so far. Every episode has been at least good, but this one takes the cake! Perfect blend of humor, emotional plot lines, and of course, Harry's plot line to find his ship! Huge payoff in this episode. Not to mention, i'm glad Isabelle is out of the picture now (didn't care for her character) and I loved seeing Sheriff and Deputy get more screen time. Seeing Deputy go off on Sheriff in the diner was great.

This episode belongs to Liv, she was perfect. The storyline flowed well and it was fun to see Max and Harry team up. Asta and Darcy keep up the comedy.

What a great episode! I'm so invested in everyone's story. The Deputy is awesome, Harry is always funny, I just enjoy them all so much. Every episode is just so good. I look forward to Wednesday nights. And Alan Tudyk is hilarious every day of the week.

What happens to the octopus!?!

Warning: Spoilers
Glad the mild slump the last episode seems over! The comedy is back. Also glad the ex-wife is gone. That storyline was a little slow. Loved the acting where Dead Harry confronts Alien Harry. I really wanted Liz to give BB even a piece of her mind, but the build to her anger was so good and her blow up had good timing. I can't believe they get so much into one episode. The mayor's wife looks so much like Linda Cardellini that, at times, I'm surprised it's not her. And I knew that I recognized the octopus's voice and I'm so mad at myself for not knowing whose it was! I just didn't want Harry to leave it to get eaten! What's going to happen next?!

Maybe just a plaque

RA continues to provide the laughs as this episode see's Harry get ever closer to reaching his goal. Young Max's problems get resolved as the case of the stolen prescription pad gets solved at long last, and Liz puts her foot down.

The show manages to resolve the potential exposure of Harry in the beginning of the episode in a pretty underwhelming way that got resolved just a bit too easy for being the previous show cliffhanger. Is it really government policy to shoot extra terrestrials? C'mon man.

Sheriff Mike and Deputy Liz continue their investigation, while Mike continues to be his continuous oblivious self, and Liz getting no credit for her efforts with the mayor. Later, the two find out who stole the pad and who currently has it. During the apprehension Mike does things the hard way while Liz uses her smarts. Later at a diner Liz let's Mike know what she really feels.

Max's ability to see through Harry's disguise proves useful and after Harry agrees to save him from being shipped off, Max agrees to help Harry with a job. Borrowing some resources from school they manage to locate the last missing piece of Harry's ship: the destructive device.

Things go worse this time around out on the glacier as Harry locates his item, but both D'Arcy and Asta have followed and the three get into even deeper trouble.

Another decent entry in a show that could've been whittled down to 30 minutes if they'd omit the whole Judy, D'Arcy drama that is getting a bit tired and old. 7/10.

The Green Glow

The previous episode ended with a great cliffhanger.

The resolve in this episode was rather weak. A cheap cop out.

The whole episode was a filler in my opinion.

Harry tries to get over Isabelle leaving him and losing his job as the town doctor by taking booze and drugs.

Later he is told that he should be getting stoned. The best bit was Harry talking to an octopus.
