The movie is a remake of popular National Award winning film "Vicky Donor". And, unlike usual remakes, its not a scene-by-scene copycat movie. Kudos to the Director for making good changes and making a feel good film. The music and songs could have been better that is lacking from the original. Overall, a good watch!!

This is an average movie about the sperm donor and the consequences he faced by that donation in his family. Vivek sir done his role perfectly by his signature acting. One time watchable movie only for Vivek sir.

If I watched a movie and took the pains to login to IMDb app to write first movie review, then it means the film's struck a chord. I dont watch many movies but this one really touched a chord. Superb acting, casting, characters, a taboo subject in our society, and an eye opener to society. This is what cinema should be about. Songs also were good. Of course there is always room for improvement, like over acting here and there but even the way this review could've been written could be better. I am a layman and it was worth my time. So great work guys. Thank u. I lov my child even more.

This is a remake of the Bollywood film "Vicky donor (2012)". It has made a lot of changes to suit the tamil audience due to which the original comedies are lacking in this movie. A good time pass if you have not watched the original. Not a movie to watch with kids.

I never watched Vicky donor nor interested watching because of the satisfaction gave to me after watching this movie. Really thought provoking and well made movie. Hats off to the whole team in this movie. No flaws whatsoever.

First things first Bollywood always gets ripped for remaking many south movies which is a fault of them. But once in a while a gem of a movie releases and Vicky Donor is one of them stars brilliant actors Ayushmann Khurana, Yami Gautam, Annu Kapoor and many more excellent actors. It's a brilliant movie explaining sperm donor in a brilliant and funny and effective way. The songs too in Vicky Donor are excellent Ayushmann Khurana is a brilliant actor and a great singer too Pani Da is just a brilliant song and so nice.

Anyways back to this south version songs are rubbish, film has been copied to the tee and therefore wasn't needed the Hindi version is excellent and is a must watch. All these haters are just ridiculous saying that Bollywood all they can do is copy and paste when it's the south who does it too which industry doesn't copy movies? Anyways just enjoy the Hindi version it's much better than this rehash.

A life story about a sperm donor. Very fantastic characters What a love between the family (son, mother & grandmother) Lovely, calm & well matured lover Good coach Finally back bone of the film Dr.Kannadasan, who carry the entire film towards the service, business, help and comedy.

Feel good awesome movie..kick up ur feet and enjoy this fun filled film with feel good vibes. Dont expect logic glad its raising awareness despite being a remake.

Need more movies like this to raise awareness... happiness is a choice.

A must watch feel good awsome Tamil movie.I don't watched Vickey donor. A good young man who fulfilled 49 couples dreams also married a divorce who herself can't have baby adopting his own daughter can any one make an extremely feel good fun movie with this one liner. Director S Muthukumar will say hold my Dharalama Prabhu. Harish Kalyan once again proved he's the next big thing of Kollywood with extremely subtle cute acting.Songs and cinematography also super.This movie will deals with all modern problem and Harish Kalyan deals all with super cool attitude. Kudos to entire team especially super cute herion and Vivek sir hatsoff with out your counter this movie won't be this much good. My rating 9/10. A must watch movie.

Didn't watch the Hindi version. This Tamil version is absolute heart touching movie. Movie insists on acceptance of medical advancement, a different perspective required from Tamil society. Special mention on performance of Padmashri Vivek !!!

The movie revolves around Prabhu and Dr.Kannadasan. The movie's biggest highlight is the chemistry between Harish Kalyan and Vivek and also the crisp runtime and the climax portion. Even though the second half of the movie moves in a slow pace, the performances of the cast make us feel glued to the movie. This movie is a remake of Hindi movie Vicky Donor, but still this movie gives us totally refreshing and a good watching experience. This Dharala prabhu must be welcomed whole heartedly for taking serious issues like sperm donation and artificial insemination and conveying it in a rather light hearted manner. Give this feel-good movie a try!

Nice concept, new ideas, emotional at times, feel good movie. Must watch. Comedy, Love, Sentiments, Emotions, Family.

The whole movie was steered towards emotional connectedness, so that part of the film might get well with those target audiences but didn't jell with me. From my perspective, I think this content could've been done in a much better way if taken on a funny journey, the recent Hindi movie: Good Newzzz is a very good example here. The content has a huge potential of arousing laughter and I feel that it was used to a much lesser extent. Some of the scenes were very emotional especially the climax part where it might've been better if it'd have ended up with a comedic tone instead of family drama based one which felt like an unnecessary extension of the climax. Yet to watch the original/Hindi version to know how well it stands in comparison.

Dr Kannadhasan would have got the same set of cards as Dr.Chadda, but he has reshuffled the pack very well and tried to make some different sets of rummy with the rummyjoker as prabhu and won the game.
