The main plot is the daughter of a politician running for election getting kidnapped.
Lincoln finds out that the campaign building was once a bank with hidden chutes. It is a race against time to find the kidnapped daughter as the police go through likely suspects.
There are several suspects and at one point the police even think the father might be dirty.
As always it is a combination of Lincoln's knowledge of old buildings and Felix being superfast on the computer pulling up old blueprints. It was thrilling enough but at times the writing was hokey. If I took a random guess, the victim is going to be in the boiler room in a very large building.
The Bone Collector is upset that he has to cut up his wife. Even a serial killer has to show his remorseful side for a bit. Lincoln gets a breakthrough as they go through cold kidnapping cases. A victim from thirty years earlier survived and his cousin did it. The police now have a name.
It sets the series up for its final two episodes. The Bone Collector knows the police are on to him.
