The movie should have tried to be a good movie instead of advocing a pollitical take
mordaviram2 June 2022
The movie is revolving around a mixed race family where the mother is a left wing supporter and she went to a meeting of a left wing social club.

Because there is a civil war between the left and the right and the movie portrait the right wing as the Nazis from WW2, and the right wing side is building concentration camps for leftist supporters. The right wing is also using members list from a club as such the protagonist is going to as a tool to find leftist supporters

There are major flaws here: (1) Delusional take.

(2) There is no visible war. Only people inside 1 house talking between each other.

(3) The family is in a "pre-arranged safe house" but they have no satellite phone or internet and no suitable self protection measurements.

This movie is like watching the news panel members talking about a war, rather then an actual war movie. If I would like to watch people on the screen telling me what to think, I have like 50 channels for that in every language.

The movie had no character development, no interesting story besides the first 10 minutes and had a pointless ending.

This movie is like watching SNL - they focus too much on advocating their ideas but they forget to be entertaining. Sad, the start of the movie was promising.

Seriously bad acting by everyone

The plot attracted me, but oh boy.... Everybody speaks as if they're reading the lines. Too many sub-plots and stories too.

It's a missed opportunity. If real actors would have played in this and the story would have been re-written a bit, it could have been a brilliant film.

Brave New World

Warning: Spoilers
The rift between the American right and left turns into a hot civil war, the one MSNBC warns us about. A group of leftists take refuge in a remote lodge and discover that in their own microcosm they are not much better than those they oppose.

The film started out with a decent Uwe Boll premise but once they got at the lodge home the movie fell flat.

Guide: F-word. No sex or nudity.

Flattest movie ever

Warning: Spoilers
You get to see a group of people hiding through out a civil war. You dont get to see anytning of the ongoing war. No big conflicts within the group and all of the sudden the war is over and they are at home. There is no deep in the movie at all. You dont get to know the caracters and you dont get to know the situation. Over all a terrible movie. Do not waste your time on this one.

Waste of time

The story started good but fell flat quickly. You will end up watching 90 min of scared democrats debating nonsense in a random house with no logic. Very sad that movies like this get funded.

Totally horrible
Horrible writing, horrible acting, horrible camera work, horrible story, horrible music. I can't find a single positive about this movie.

Be warned you'll waste your time.
