Amateurish

Don't get me wrong, I've seen some TRULY horrible films ("Rollergator" and "Feeders" come to mind), so I know just how low quality can get. This isn't that severe by a long shot. However, it's definitely a pass. "Sharknado" has better acting and production quality. This is mediocre acting, a convoluted, meandering plot and action scenes that are confusing and lazy. The production didn't even bother to use squibs on the many gunshots throughout. If this was a student's first film I would still say they have a lot to learn.

About the only moderately decent factor was the music. The rest of the sound was poor.

Worst

Worse acting I ever seen in 65 years. Camera work was weak. Special effects amateur. Fighting between the actors was like looking a a little kid pushing another. Film must of cost a total of a few thousand dollars including paying the so called actors. Music was like listening to church organ.lead actress had no concept at how to show feelings. Our actors felt like they had an earpiece telling them what to say. Absolutely no character study. Movie doesn't even show where the killers came from or what they had to do. The only thing that looked real was the snow it was real. Some scenery was breathtaking.

Suffering at its very best
udidudie-418-4945727 February 2023
The plot is predictable, the characters are carelessly sketched, and worse that the actors look helplessly exhausted. The only nice part of the film was the starting sequence when the deer is trapped in suffering. And here we the audiences retain the same throughout the film. After first 40 minutes all I was wishing was for the film to end. And it did, but after a long time. If you want to see a thriller there are many titles available and if you still can't figure out, just go for the Bruce Willis original flick "Die Hard" and you will still love it even after watching it 100 times. This one's bad and very sad.

Great suspense for most of the film, Decent acting from the veteran cast.

Great suspense for most of the film, Decent acting from the veteran cast. Night time lighting was good, like a full moon night in the woods. And the sets were awesome, outdoors agound the Grand Lake, Colorado area! I beg to disagree with ssal-45760, They are not so called actors, many are veterans of hunderds of films and TV episodes, like Rockmond Dunbar, Doris Morgado, PJ Marshall, Wendy Williams, (daughter of Montel), Vernon Davis and especially the young and rising star Luis Da Silva, who was in Gotti with John Travolta and has starred in dozens of other films, usually as a tough young bad guy! Just look up their bios on iMDB, these millionaire actors do not work for free, it was not that low budget! AND the killers were told to get the guy who got away, watch it again, and there was a character of the couple at the beginning. I will admit the post-production and editing could have been better, and the writing, but I cut them slack since because of covid that hit right after filming was wrapped in early March of 2020. Also all the night filming was done in sub-zero temps, brutal on your body after many many hours!
