Production of "Exit, Stage Death" completed on March 13 and the following day all film production in Vancouver, BC shut down due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. This production was completed just in time preventing it from being shut down.
The Theatre featured in this movie also appears in the previous movie in this series (Dead Over Diamonds: Picture Perfect Mysteries). It is seen both as the location of Maya's audition with Mr. White and also all the scenes in the Art Gallery, were film in a room backstage dressed up to look like a modern art gallery, just a bit of Ron Oliver movie magic.
A shooting day was canceled after fears that someone might have traveled to China, and might have come in contact with COVID-19. Following an investigation by production shooting resumed.
When asked what the password was to track the ladies phone, she used the word "password."
