Family love and absolute nature.

It seems to me a film that is based on the love of grandparents towards grandchildren, which can be represented in cooking a delicious dish, as well as welcoming the family. I really love the sound of nature, the chirping of different types of birds that live in the place. It transports me to a true Paradise. I am struck by the faith that they profess to the Gods, the customs and the culture that they show through the scene in the Theater. I am a Latin woman and I am not used to seeing women eating alone and not sharing with the rest of the family, I imagine that there are more customs where women are excluded, but I cannot do anything about it, they are customs that have been preserved until now and I imagine that they are happy that way. It is a sweet, natural film that shows that a lot can be done without so much technology and the result is fabulous. I recommend seeing and appreciating the details.

Hopefully this movie can be seen massively. It's very good.

Last night I saw the movie "Koli Taal", I really liked it. A universal story of a relationship between grandparents and grandson set in a part of the world full of very interesting regional customs, the film allows us to know beliefs, habits and landscapes that we do not know in our parts. But the relationship between grandparents and grandchildren has that load of unconditional love from older generations and is the same throughout the world, the happiness that a visit from a grandchild creates is highly demonstrated. The story that shows the ternuna and the happiness that this visit generates is sustained with suspense generated from the disappearance of the chicken and determining who was the culprit. The location is great and is excellently portrayed through a beautiful photograph. I highlight the performance of "grandfather", an endearing character.

I really enjoyed this movie, it's very exotic for me because I am European. It's a film that is easily viewed with a pleasant touch of humor. I had a great time watching this movie and I highly recommend it!

This is one finest which will get back us into our childhood days and refresh our thoughts. In the midst of heroism and non veg joke movie this one is purely realistic and content based movie which recalls our memories back into times when we visited our grandparents. A simple tale turned out into beautiful family entertained movie in humorous way with regional dialect and view of nature(Sagara),regional culture and beliefs, love,care and bond between grandparents and grandson,chirping sound of birds, regional dance. In total will not only serve with chicken curry but as pure realistic film 'Koli Taal', indeed to be recalled and remembered.

Congratulations to whole team for their commendable efforts and making tremendous job in debut filmmaking.

Nostalgia

It took me to my childhood. Festival hit . It made me to remember my grandpa.. Small concent but well narrated. Awesome experience watching it. Especially sound and screenplay worked out well.

This movie will make audience to travel to their village again. We should support these type movies. Expecting this movie on OTT soon.

I had taken my whole family members to watch during theatrical release.

It would be great if this movie is released on television platform so tha whole family people sit and watch together.

Prabhakar kundar who has played the role of grandpa is very impressive.

This one of the finest and simple story which reminds us one of the childhood. It took in a small village which less cast and movie came out with great acting by Prabhakar kundar (grandfather) as Mahabala shetty sir and Radha Ramachandra mam as Vanaja and direction from Abhilash shetty and the Cinematography team did a great work in making this beautiful movie with simple story,

Its a movie that's so easy and heartwarming.. All about simple pleasure in life like chicken curry:) and for me as a 80s kids it reminded me of our relatives back in the village, their simplicity and the beautiful, serene nature they live in and live so closely with... I only wish I knew how I can get my parents to watch it.. I am not sure where its available to watch. Totally recommend you watch it of you get it on any platform. Movies such as this should get so much more attention in my opinion...

Movies like these dont get spoken as much as a very commercial movie so ppl like us who like it must make it a point to be vocal about it..

A simple story told from the heart can move us the most. Koli Taal is just such a story. Like a friend sitting down to share a cherished memory from their past, Koli Taal recounts the events surrounding a grandson's visit to his family's farm. For every person who has ever travelled to visit their doting grandparents, this comedic tale is sure to bring back many memories and create some hilarious new ones too.

Charming and Sweet, A Beautiful Film

This film reminded me of spending the night with my grandparents when I was young. My grandmother always cooked my favorite foods and took such delight in watching me enjoy her efforts. My grandfather could be a bit obsessive and cranky, so it all rang true.

The charm of this film takes me back to "The Gods Must Be Crazy" with its look at what appears to be a simple village life and a love for family.

A wonderful directorial feature debut for Abhilash Shetty who also wrote, edited and starred in the film.

The world of cinema can look forward to more from this young talent.

Highly recommend this wonderful slice of life comedy that truly delivers much more than its simple premise.

A realistic, humorous and relaxing movie showing the love in relationships and the way rural Karnataka works. A must watch

Set in the daily life of people rural Karnataka, it's made in a realistic and artistic approach instead of the commercial hi-fi approach which gives the viewer a fresh view. The acting is as natural as it gets without any dramatisation which is very appealing. It shows the excitement and action in the relationship of grandparents, grandson and the illogical yet effective way rural india works in giving the viewers a relaxing time. A must watch to understand the approach of the new generation of film makers to the industry.
