Warning: Spoilers
In a surprise move, Alex comes back to Dr. Weston for another session. The therapist offers him coffee, but Alex objects to the way it has been brewed. The pilot confesses he did to Bagdad with the church group, which really surprises Paul. After the last time they were together, it was doubtful whether Alex would do such thing.

Alex gives his account of the visit. They went to the street where he dropped the bomb. Lots of people were lining in front of a pharmacy. One old man, in particular, caught his eye. This man showed burns in his body and kept talking in his language, something that Alex could not understand. It was as though the old man had recognized the American as the one that caused his misery, as well as the others.

The incident obviously unnerved Alex. In a way, it made him think about his father, a man that killed his own father with his bare hands. Upon hearing this Dr. Weston wants his patient to expand. It turns out that Alex's family were being hunted by a mob of whites and fled to the basement of the house. There, his grandfather, a lung cancer patient, could be heard with his wheezing cough, so his son made sure he did not give them away by holding his own hand to his nose. The result was a death by asphyxiation.

Dr. Weston wanted to expand on Alex's relation with his father, but it appears to be a painful subject. Alex focuses instead in telling him an incident when he returned from his Bagdad trip. Getting home later that expected, he found his wife, Michaela, sleeping on the couch. In her sleep he could hear her grinding her teeth, something that startled him. Michaela, a control freak, is suddenly seen in a new light by Alex, which makes him assume his marriage is over.

This episode was written by Bryan Goluboff, and directed by the series' creator, Rodrigo Garcia. As usual, the acting is the strength of this program. Gabriel Byrne is the best reason for our interest for watching. Blair Underwood has the ongoing role of Alex, the disturbed black pilot.
