Jake is seen at Dr. Weston's office calling on his cell phone trying to locate Amy, his wife. Naturally, the doctor appears irritated because of the lack of consideration from a patient that not only is late for the session, but also arrived late the last time she came to see the therapist. Jake is frantic because he cannot find her.

When Amy finally arrives, Jake confronts her. Amy makes all kinds of excuses to justify her lateness. Her husband notices she is wearing a new dress. Naturally, he is curious as to how she got it and wants to know. The two fight for most of the time they are in the office. When they finally settle down, the issue of Amy's pregnancy becomes the center of their problem.

Jake figured he has come to the therapist to get an opinion about how to proceed about the thorny issue, but Dr. Weston makes it clear, it is their decision. When Jake asks point blank what should they do, the answer could not be more clear: Amy should go ahead with the termination of the pregnancy, which gets Jake upset. Dr. Weston only wanted to arouse his patient, but Jake does not take it lightly, storming out of the office.

Amy stays behind and her fears about having the baby come out loud and clear. She feels the unexpected development will take her to a place she would rather not go. In fact, Weston points out this to Amy, who seems to be taken aback.

Another excellent chapter in this series created by Rodrigo Garcia, who also wrote and directed the episode. One of the most interesting women working today, Embeth Davidtz plays Amy in an amazing take on this troubled woman. Josh Charles appears as Jake giving a highly charged account of Jake. Gabriel Byrne is the moderator in the battle between his patients. As usual he gives a nuanced reading of Dr. Weston.
