I enjoyed African Journey more than Asian Journey, in large part due to a refreshing lack of crazy drama that had marred the latter series. Instead, in this series you have genuinely relatable and sympathetic people to root for. I really cheered for Shu-Mai throughout the journey.

Wardrobe malfunction

I too liked the African journey better than the Asian one. Too much drama with the one girl who NEVER should've been allowed to return. And as much as I love the show, watching the hosts wardrobe was an eyesore, especially Becky's, her looks should be complimented with a top designers collection. Who ever dressed them should be fired!
One of the best shows I've ever seen

This is really one of the best shows I've ever seen in terms of how funny, heartwarming and educational/informative it is. Even though I preferred the countries shown in Asian Journey, I enjoyed not having dramatic/angry individuals, so I really appreciated the humor and the educational aspect of the show. I'm glad the couples worked out too.
What I didn't like was how often the people got sick, I felt very bad for them, I wish they were better prepared on what/how to eat, drink, etc, plus have better living conditions. Same as how they couldn't check the weather forecast and plan accordingly, rather than going to a deserted island in the middle of nowhere or up to Kilimanjaro during thunderstorms. I feel like they could have protected the cast and the staff better.
