Atonement (#14.13)

Warning: Spoilers
This episode was mainly great because of a great guest star, Jonathan Banks. He is a brilliant actor, we all who have seen him in Breaking Bad have no doubts about that. In this episode he also got a great story of a man whose job was to give lethal injections to prisoners and who is now regretting it wanting forgiveness from god. Maybe I wouldn't like the same story with a different actor, but Jonathan Banks portrayed it so greatly that it was hard to keep away from screen. The great twist they also put into it was that the woman didn't forgive him. I also hated her, dumb unreasonable ****. But this also gave us even more interesting scenes and emotions.

Sam and Tony? That was kind off weird, didn't expect it.

The hockey nonsense was...

Probably the worst plotline in the history of ER. Just ridiculously corny, completely overdone and absolutely unbelievable. Why even?

Greene in a bomb suit, Abby roping out of a chopper and Neela playing hockey, just bad....

I have no new ideas for this weeks' show. Let's have Gates dump his current girl and move on to the very next woman he sees. Great idea!

Put Gates all of the way

Warning: Spoilers
We all know Morris is a d! CK but again with Gates?

I really hate his character, no development and the same thing EVERY TIME.

Yes, he is from Full House but why all his patients have to be girls or boys? So freaking boring.

And now dating Sam, REALLY? Why?

The female characters have their opportunity to shine but NO, let's put them dating someone or giving advices.

They don't even talk to each other if is not about men.

I'm gonna take the opportunity to talk about the intro, why did they change it?! It's forgettable, boring and lazy.

Let's hope no one dies...oh wait, that's the trick whenever a serie it's getting worse.

An all time low

Warning: Spoilers
Neela and the gang, including the new intern, the geek Romano wannabe, the Pearl Harbor guy, and Josh from the Office, all play hockey...? Funny how it's never been mentioned prior to this episode, except when Malucci and Greene played - back in season 7. I know it was meant to be funny, but it was delivered as bad, really bad, slap stick because nothing about any of these characters and actors is funny. It was far more embarrassment than comedy... and they didn't let it go for the entire episode.

Back in the ER...who cares, it's Pratt and Gates' stories. Really, who cares?

I'm only watching for the endgame and the return guest star appearances by past ER stars. It's gotten so, so bad...and the ratings show. It's been a slow, steady decline over the past 5 seasons. Did the writers and producers really not get it or were they just too proud to admit it?

Revved up the bike and cleared the shark

Last couple seasons were a slow train wreck, culminating in this absolute disaster of an episode. Even the acting chops of Jonathan Banks couldn't save this episode. Banks was the only bright spot and even his dialogue was rough.

I think this is the end of ER for me.

A wasted opportunity

Warning: Spoilers
A wasted opportunity to examine more deeply the difficulty faced by the man looking for "atonement."

Of all people, Pratt was the one to add his trite ghetto speak to the situation.
