- The movie is based on a real life drug cartel incident. So obviously there are many references and scenes which feature various drugs.
- A man has a secret room in which he grows marijuana and prepares meth.
- A meth lab bursts due to malfunction and cocaine spurts in the air. All the characters involved in the scene are shown to be having drug induced hallucinations.
- A man drinks a bottle of water in which drugs were mixed without his knowledge and thus goes in a drug induced sleep.
