Fun movie
jjwc4413 July 2020
It's pretty simple, if you're a fan of the other Bad Ben movies, then you'll be a fan of this one too. I really like the lead actor in the movie Nigel Bach. He always finds another way to make another bad Ben movie. Hope to see one more.

Nigel Makes It. Everything Else is a Waste.

I'd be happy if this guy kept on making films forever. The character he plays has such a fun attitude to life. You have to like him to enjoy this film though as he takes up most of the screen time. The story is weak. Some of the acting is atrocious. It has barely even a tenuous link to Bad Ben. The Monty Python like final scene is useless. In fact, you're better off not watching it. I'm giving it a 5 though because the guy is funny. More!

Definitely the worst of Bad Ben series....
vinskmd9 January 2020
Not that this movie really is involved with the Bad Ben series ...but goodness what a mess. I became a fan of Nigel Bach after the first Bad Ben. There are those of us who enjoy those low budget quirky C-horror films. Unfortunately Nigel's films have slowly deteriorated with this one being the bottom feeder. Crescent Clown was awful but this one really stunk. You'll watch it because Nigel intrigued and entertained us with the Bad Ben & Steelmanville Rd movies, but prepare for disappointment.

Terrible

Awful, awful movie. Not a shred of acting ability. Cringeworthy nonsense. I love horror movies, even some bad ones but this is an absolute joke. Don't waste your time.

Unintentionally hilarious

Ed Wood came back to life solely to get a Twitter account to tweet this. "Think Plan 9 was bad, PU". Suspending disbelief is a must for watching any movie this went way beyond normal disbelief. He picks picks up his first ride share customer who asks him to take him to the house he used to own is strange but reasonable in a horror movie but having all three of his first ride share customers ask him to take them to that house nope. Random unexplained ghoulies nonsensical temper tantrum's and an odd lecture telling one of his customers how lucky he was to have him as his driver that guy points out that when one of the monsters was attacking him he dragged him out of the car and drove away leaving him behind as monster food. A brain fart in the middle of an improvised character interaction or an actual line from a scripted movie, who knows. You want to be scared go elsewhere, you want a straight up horror comedy "Tucker and Dale" is the movie for you but if you want to be momentarily amused that turns into irritation pretty quick here you go.

Garbage
nanettemeau26 January 2023
This movie is a piece of garbage. Do not bother watching it. And it appears that I have to write hundreds of required characters before I can push submit. In this case I will go ahead and ramble on. Basically it's a nonsensical ludicrous ridiculous boring seedy comical trashy film. If you are a Lyft driver or such you might find this interesting. I would never want to be a rideshare with all the nut cases out there in the world. Too dangerous. Although this movie touches on a supernatural spooky side with Ludicrous scenes it's nothing short of trashy stupidity. I would not recommend anyone to watch this movie or anything like it.

Original. Hilarious. Worthy focus for parties.

I very unironically find Bad Ben 7 to be nothing less than a work of art. As with the previous works in the series we find our agitated, South Jersey Everyman hero, Tom Riley, forced yet again into contending with the dastardly machinations of the Egg Harbor Township supernatural underground.

Budget doesn't matter. These movies are hilarious and Bad Ben 7 takes it to even higher peaks. Nigel Bach has put more creative originality and humor on film than what I've seen come out of the last 10 years of generic Hollywood schlock. Tonight my adolescent daughter and I first watched the latest Spider-Man film before moving on to Bad Ben 7. Sure, I grew up loving comics and the Marvel Universe. That said, Spider-Man was ok. Bad Ben 7 had me laughing so hard I was in tears. My daughter loved it so much she wished her friends were over to watch. We can't wait to show it to my husband who went to bed early and missed the fun.

If you don't get the joke, it might be time to question how deeply you are drinking from the cup of Life. Nigel Bach has brought a breath of fresh air and earthy humanity to film making. I truly hope he keeps going.

Less is more Nigel...you prove it here

Nigel had so much character & charisma, i love his accent & his whole attitude to the psychos he encounters. There was a lot of room for my imagination to fear the worst, which many films seem to ignore. A really impressive watch, considering it's homemade on a shoe-string. Not a lot was over-the-top, so applause from me 👏

Not to be taken seriously! Just fun

It's a comedy....a really stupid yet hilarious comedy! It's not supposed to be a work of cinematic art ..... It's a great, brainless horror-spoof with stupid lines and bad acting. That's the point!

My favorite BB movie!
southpolexxx6 January 2021
This is by far my favorite Bad Ben movie by Bach. I'm a huge fan of his work; he's a major inspiration for the utilitarian filmmaker. A creative genius in my opinion. I would love to see more Haunted Highway movies by him. Keep up the great work Nigel! 10/10

WOW!
whalenp-2377524 October 2023
I am so impressed by this amazing film. It completely crushed my expectations and had me wanting more! I love the clown and all the silly adventures that the funny characters go on! I am pleased to say this is now my favorite movie and I showed it to my wife, kids and even my folks. This is a great movie to watch during October and it was a great way to get me frightened and in a spooky mood. I am completely flaburgasted by the graphics and how well the film was directed. Tom Riley is a great character that teaches many great life lessons throughout the course of the movie. My kids learned lots of lessons for Tom Riley and I really think you should watch it. BEST MOVIE EVER!

Cinematic Masterpiece
skripakw24 October 2023
Wow. Just wow. I can't believe I was graced enough to exist at the same time period as this absolute work of art. Everything down to the last minute detail was completely perfect. The cinematography, the terrific writing, and the Grammy-worthy acting performance from Nigel Bach. Tom Riley is truly one of the greatest fictional characters to be dreamt up. Even the other characters are flawless, featuring amazing cameos from the werewolf, clown, vampire, and more. The special effects were out of this world for such a small budget, spefically the terrifying scene where the vampire jumps over 362 Steelmanville road. Truly just an amazing film that blends together genres of horror, comedy and drama. "Door Ajar"

Nigel Bach yet again rocks this.
danteasdale45820 January 2023
Warning: Spoilers
In my opinion, the Haunted Highway is my favorite Bad Ben. It's so hilarious and goofy you just can't help but love it.

Nigel Bach is always hilarious in these movies and his dialogue and personality are bar none some of the funniest things ever. I don't believe for a second that most of his dialogue was so not scripted. Bach directed it and clearly just had free range and did what ever he wanted.

There's an absolutely hilarious part where Nigel meets a doppelgänger of himself in the middle of the woods and their interaction is amazing.

What makes his character so good is that he's so used to being attacked and haunted, he just treats it like it's nothing. Like the ghost could smash him so hard that he flies backward with full force and all Nigel has to say is "oh cmon! Ef you! Don't ef with me!"

The Bas Ben movies are a load of fun and this one may be my favorite. It's so worth checking out.
