looney tunes: Duck Amuck (2007) ds game review
jackstonestone9 March 2022
Warning: Spoilers
So duck Amuck is game for the ds that was supposed to capitalize on the whole entire utilization of the interactive properties of the ds and its various features and the main theming of this entire game is being able to interact with one of the famous looney tunes characters know as (Daffy Duck). HOWEVER, today i wanted to do an honest review of this game and honestly this is the most underrated nintendo game of all time to me and i will tell you why right now. So first of all the entire video games theming like i just said before is entirely based around an interactive experience basically doing everything in the game with daffy duck along with his humorous commentary alongside everything as well and honestly that entertained me for HOURS AND HOURS AND HOURS when i was a little kid and when i first started playing this. Also every single minigame that is in this game along with playing it with daffy duck and him being the most hilarious and hysterical character of all time and also the minigames themselves have very clever concepts and ideas despite being short little games to play but trust me they kept me entertained for HOURS upon HOURS when i was a little kid. Also i love the satisfaction of being able to pull off funny slapstick comedy in this game whenever you get the chance to mess around with daffy by messing around with either the environment of the game or himself and it's not only fun and entertaining because of his personality and character but also him being humorous throughout every single flipping line of dialogue that he has and when i was a kid it made me cry laughing and i'm gonna be straight up with all of you when i say i actually fished through my old stuff in my old toy bins and i actually found both my 3ds and the duck amuck ds game and I spent at least 1 day playing the game and it was still the greatest experience as i still remember to be completely honest. Also the voice actor for daffy duck deserves more than an oscar for not only recording SO MANY voice lines for daffy but also making him sound as funny and humorous as he always used to be back. Also the utilization of every feature on the ds is used on this game like the mic and the stylus and all the buttons as well but mostly the touch screen on the bottom and so many more ways to interact with the gameplay and daffy himself, also i love how each and every single minigame still goes on for a decent amount of time and progressively gets more difficult for each of the 5 levels that you play for each one of them but the best part is that once you first play a minigame you will unlock it in free play mode where you can not only play the minigame whenever you want but there are now 10 levels to play and it ramps up the difficulty level SUPER HIGH but it's still so gratifying if you actually manage to complete 10 whole levels of each minigame because trust me when i say it might be difficult to get past an entire 10 levels with each of them having ramped up difficulty for each passing one is EXTREMELY DIFFICULT but it's super fun at the same time so it's kind of like the perfect run from super mario galaxy 2 and if you've played that at all like when i was a little then you'd know how painful it is but it was still fun nonetheless. I also love how you can collect medals that have pictures of various looney tunes characters and this game even has a coloring book as well which was also really fun. Also while being a very minor detail in this game i really do love the music as well for it being engraved into my memory for the longest time considering how long i spent playing this game when i was little. So in conclusion, this game is not only the most underrated nintendo game i've ever played or heard of before but also this game has very fun and interactive gameplay like I've never seen ever before and this is without a doubt the most INTERACTIVE gameplay experience i've ever had as a child and even when i replayed it about a decade later. So what would i rate this game on a scale of 1 to 10, absolute 10 i love literally everything about this game and it is an absolute masterpiece and it deserves more love and recognition in my opinion.
