Shy Erin (Catherine Morvell) has one friend Rachel (Gabrielle Pearson) following an incident where she passed out at a party and was abused by others in her circle. She has a crush on Alex (Jesse Bouma) fellow film making student. Alex has a "Snuff boy" film on his laptop which Erin discovers. People in Erin's circle who abused her start being murdered, murders that are being filmed.

I was hoping for a twist. PLOT SPOILER. Maybe the killer was hired by Cameron (Charles Jazz Terrier ) who was running for office and wanted anyone who knew about the incident eliminated. I thought the film was going in that direction. At one point we see a man being killed by a man with a tattoo on his right arm. Alex shows us his right arm and there is no tattoo. I believed that was a clue and we would soon see Cameron with a tattoo. Nope.

Guide: F-word. Implied sex. Brief rape. No nudity.

unrefined and necrotic to the fingertips

Its with a bitter aftertaste i do this rewiev, because the imdb rating says 6,7, but it isnt, unless youre a local or a friend of the cast and crew people.

the acing are at moments good, but mostly they are striving and stumbling especially in fast changing situations. one can blame the actors, but the director has the responsibility for the product therefore his fault. the filmography are basic, also the edit , but the soundwork and musical score are disastrous and boring.

there are blood and gore for them fetish to it, the killing methods are pretty decent deadly, but ive seen far worse in gory 8+'s gore movies.. the story though are not original and follows the same recipy as 1000's of other '' make or break'' movies. revenge can be measured from 1 to 10, and the factor here are 3 thinks the grumpy old man. i'll leave recommendations for others to make.

This is absolutely woeful!!!! Ok, the two lead actors do a quality performance with the script they had to work with. This film in all aspects is ameteur and you would think it was produced as a high school assignment. Don't waste your time

My quick rating - 1,9/10. I honestly could copy the last review I just typed. AVOID this trash. I literally am at a loss for words just peeking at IMDB. It takes a few reviews down to have reality set in. The acting is laughable, and not in a corny fun way. These morons think they are being serious. I suppose in some world it sounds like everyone is reading directly off paper. The only revenge is taking this movie and FORCING someone to watch it. That is true torture. Please keep everyone involved with this movie away from cameras and block their IP from EVER creating a kickstarter so they can't get the money to make another video lobotomy.

The acting is excruciatingly bad. Lol, except for the bit part of the boss. He was good.

I mean, they had nothing in the script to work with, but I felt like I was watching a jr. High or High school stage production. The script certainly didn't help. The dialogue was so cliche... crude jocks and uber-perky teen girls with fake, sugary voices that make you want to slap their faces off. Giggle, giggle, snicker! I do not know anyone I went to school with who acted like ANY of these "characters". None of them are likeable.

Have I mentioned there is no plot, the characters are one-dimensional, and the audio soundtrack is like fingers on chalk? The violence is not even on par with first-year film students. It is hard to believe a young teen didn't write, produce it, film it, and then cast all their talent-less friends in it.

I mean, this film is one of the worst I have ever seen. I probably refuse to finish a movie only about one time out of 150 movies, and this was one of them. There was nothing redeemable about it and I didn't feel like punishing myself. The only way this movie could have the rating it does hare is if the filmmakers asked all their high-school friends, family, and cast and crew to give it a "10". I hate it when people do that.

Edit: Yeah, I went back and looked at all the positive reviews and they were all by people whose first and only review was this movie. On the other hand, the bad reviews were from people who've reviewed hundreds to thousands of movies. Fake scores and reviews should be deleted.

Just ok

This is probably what you get it you combine I know what you did last summer, unfriended and cam girls. The lead protagonist is traumatised with a horrific incident with which a group of so-called friends were involved. The premise had promise but the execution is poor. The film is a collection of pov murder scenes, some friends' gathering scenes & flashback scenes flimsily cut together to create this film. It is not the worst film I saw this year but it is far from being more than another forgettable mediocre one that I cannot recommend viewers to watch.

What Goes Around results into a cinematic masterpiece, a great mix of gore and violence, as well as a great musical score and some nice drama. The acting was great What Goes Around is One of the more original horror movies around in 2020.

Some people seem to be taking this film A LITTLE too seriously haha! I had a ton of fun with it even if it isn't going to change the world. It really took me back to those cheesy teen stalker movies I watched in early high school, in the best way.

I love Aussie cinema and low budget horror and would definitely recommend this over some cheap wine and pizza. It won't change your life, but it sure made mine a lot more fun while I was watching!

Also, Alex and Erin were both totally cute!

A decent horror slasher, 6/10.

Thrilling Throwback for Debut Director

As a lay watcher of horror I found the film a thrilling throwback to 90's slasher with a number of clever and intricate details relating to previous films incorporating a building pace with varying gore along the way. Strong Australian cast and moments to gasp and laugh. This small town 'Aussie flick' is definitely worth a watch. You won't be checking your mates and/ or partners laptop again anytime soon.

Better than expected

This movie was decent, & I'm a tough critic. Obviously a low budget so some areas could've been better. Not the best acting, some better than others & the makeup & gore was atrocious. The fake wounds were horribly amateurish. With all that aside, I actually kind of liked the story & direction. Unlike other films, I wasn't too frustrated with the decisions the characters made. The ending was decent too.

If you like slasher horror movies.... this is great!!

The plot was really good with some twists and scary moments a long the way, and any horror movie with some gore is always a bonus!

Not so good, but well-meant attempt at a non-pretentious horror flick.

I agree with most reviews here: this is definitely not Oscar-winning material. But to their defence: it obviously never was meant to! It impresses as a well-meant attempt at a non pretentious old-fashioned slasher. Sure, the acting is at times a bit akward, the writing and direction could have been much better (why let the most obvious suspect turn out to be the actual killer, in stead of giving the who-dunnit aspect some more inventive twists?), and the music score is rather uninspiring.

But the premise is not that bad, the killings are pretty decent, and to let apparent goody-two-shoes Erin gradually change into a vindictive (passive) accomplice of the killer was a nice find. I was actually enough entertained to watch the whole movie out with (I dare to admit) reasonable pleasure.

Great Australian Teen Drama

A great portrayal of Aussie Teens in Melbourne, working with a great cast and amazing Director in this Horror Film! Would highly recommend!
