This is honestly a huge improvement from the first 2 episodes of Season 6b and the so-so 3rd episode. In fact it might be the best episode of the season so far. Barry's plot was obviously the best out of all the ones this ep. His acceptance of the changes after Crisis worked so well with his dynamic with Gorilla Grodd, who generally feels like he wants to change from being power hungry after Crisis and start a new beginning. All the mindscape scenes were really well done. Plus it was just so cool to see Grodd with the powers of the Flash for just a few minutes. The Iris and Eva stuff was solid too, but that conclusion really had me excited for wats to come. The Chester and Nash stuff though could have been cut out, although Chester's was crucial to the way they save Barry and Nash's stuff is like for a few scenes until the very end. Oh and by the way what was that ending? Is Reverse Flash back or something and now haunting Nash? Overall best episode of the second half and cant wait to see what they do in the future.

Often it feels like the Flash is not the fastest man alive. If anything quite slow or really purposely slowed down to match lazy writing.
They do this many times throughout this show.
This is another one of those episodes. Where apparently Flash can't just run around Solavar and go into the breach hole. As that's all he needs to do. Fighting Solavar isn't required to complete the task.
I mean how am I supposed to find this even remotely realistic. When flash is slower than a gorilla?
I mean come on. At least add some other element to make it a challenge to take speed out of the equation. Such as maybe they should of fought him together without any powers. Then it would have been more interesting as we then know why flash can't past solavar without Grodds help.
Instead they choose the lazy route to once again make flash slower than a gorilla this time. Just think about how stupid that sounds.
All so they could help tie in the new potential Cisco. But clearly after solavar was knocked out. Flash and Grodd could of just stopped before breach hole and separated. Then walk through. But apparently we needed to force the writing for that tie in.
It's not that hard to make it a little more realistic with some tweaking. That's what makes these fiction story's interesting. Have to be somewhat believable based on the world there in. But don't break the fiction worlds foundation just for lazy writing when you feel like it.
Come on CW writers, I know you can do better than this. We have seen it before.

This episode was the first Great Episode of Season 6b it focused on Barry Allen. Barry and Grodd Dynamic was Great. Is Reverse Flash Returning I Hope he is Maybe in Episode 15. Chester Was actually quite good character in this Episode. Bringing Old Villains Like Hartley Rathaway was Good. Overall Solid Episode 9.5/10. Can't wait for Next Episode!!

Definetly way better then any post crisis episode however this episode focuses way too much on side character stories and they are not that interesting like Iris. The new black dude is a wanna be curtis who is trying to make jokes that are not even good.
The Flash and Gorilla Grodd team up!

The thirteenth episode of the sixth season titled "Grodd befriended me", which is an obvious reference to the television series "God friended me" starring Violet Beane who portrayed Jesse Quick, is an action packed and high budget episode. Grodd's return in this episode was smartly done. I really thought that Grodd will betray the Flash, but they actually teamed up in the best possible way. Gorilla Grodd harnessing the Flash's speed and Barry telling him to "Run, Grodd, Run" was purely awesome.
I loved the opening scene of the episode showcasing Barry still adjusting to this post-Crisis world. Him not being able to find his parents graves pulled on my heartstrings a little. At the end, Chester P. Runk located his parents graves and this was quite a relieving and happy moment. Chester P. Runk is a worthy member of Team Flash and hope he appears more often. Will he be replacing Cisco as the tech genius of Star Labs? Also, psyched to see Cisco returning in episode 14 and presenting his findings.
The Nash Wells and Allegra sub-plot was quite interesting. Allegra finally found out that Nash Wells is hiding the fact that he knows her Doppelgänger. The post credits scene alludes that Reverse Flash will be making an appearance in episode 14 or in a future season 6 episode. These past versions of Harrison Wells perhaps served as a warning for Nash Wells that Reverse Flash is returning and an unlikely calamity will happen.
The Iris West and Ewa McCulloch aka Mirror Master storyline got some interesting exposure in this episode. The episode revealed that Ewa McCulloch uses Iris's body to dig up information about Joseph Carver. When is Barry going to realize that his Iris is trapped inside a mirror? This storyline got far more interesting and I am enthused to see what will happen next.
To conclude, the Flash delivers one of its best episodes of the season and possibly the series this week and has no intention of slowing down, as episode 14 will feature Wally West aka Kid Flash. I loved how this episode mentioned post-Crisis changes and Barry being in Grodd's subconscious was smartly done. This is just a fun and entertaining episode with amazing special effects.

Crisis destroyed the multiverse and "merged" what was left into a single world and I am still waiting for someone or something to come in that will FIX THIS MESS.
Nothing about the post-crisis Flash feels right. The characters are all wrong. The plotline is all over the map. The writers ignore or rewrite powers. All of this for what?
This episode is slightly better than those that came forth since the end of crisis but it is still far from the quality the show had before. This 'it was not like this before' is beyond annoying and is make my this show unbearable to watch.
The only way to save this show is to reset the timeline prior to crisis. Anything short of that, you might as well cancel this sorry excuse for what used to be a great show.

Wow this episode has been amazing in all the ways!! With all the plot about Grodd, with the callbacks to season 1, the fusion of grodd an barry... Wow!! And what about the big plot twist with that ending??? INCREDIBLE!!!! Glad to see also Barry being the main character as he deserves!!!!

The episode has been a very good episode for a long time, I think. What I really liked was Chester. It was super fun and I think it would also fit perfectly into the team. Which was very strange for me that Cisco had been away for so long, but in such cases you could take Chester. I have to say that I like Chester better than Cisco right now. I hope that the episodes get better and that Team Flash does something more together again. I don't like the individual actions, that was much better in the previous seasons. The bottom line is that the Flash team is missing for me. I think it's a shame that the family has gone very lost. I'm honestly rather disappointed with the second half of Season 6. Which, as you can see, also shows the poorer ratings. I think that the new Schowrunner Eric Wallace should improve a lot. His predecessor T. Helbing was 100% better. This is my opinion.
Could've been a great solo Flash episode.

This could have been a really great solo Flash story given that The Flash has become a supporting character in his own show but no they had to give us two more annoying sidekicks because Grodd forbid Barry handles anything on his own.I'm not even sure about the ending which seems like a fan grab more than anything else.Also when Gideon announced there were over a million changes to the universe Barry just sits back in frustration.I thought Barry was a speed reader.He can read a million words a second.Just read the list at super speed and get caught up..

This was a great episode. Loved the return of grodd and thought it was great Solovar came with him. Dissapointed at no jessie quick. Ending scene was great

Having watched the Flash from the beginning, and been watching S6 recently, the last two episodes have been lacking the classic Flash I love but THIS EPISODE TAKES THE CAKE!!! what an episode! Classic Flash though without Cisco but I love Kamilla and Chester in this episode and even Killer Frost
Wells is just an amazing interesting character and that ending!
I'm giving this a 10!
So its really true that the writers knew nothing of the Crisis....strange!!!

How could that have happened. at the start of the episode Barry cannot remember what happened in the new timeline..but that doesnt make sense...Nothing in this episode make sense...Are we actually in the mirror universe..that would be cool if all this was just a ploy..I would applaud that scenario..But i highly doubt that. Still a fun episode..it just makes no sense and makes no sense.

This was the "back to basics" I desperately needed after the last 3 episodes. Barry gets trapped in Grodd's conscience, so Grodd teams up with Barry to help him. I love Grodd Friended Me! This was the last Grodd episode for over 2 whole seasons! Until Season 9, this was THE last episode. And boy, what a send off to Grodd this was! I love everything! The body swap concept is always fun to see. The visual style is one of the best in a long time. And overall, Grodd and Barry's dynamic is really awesome! The second half of Season 6 isn't looking ball bad after this great episode! Going under Dead Man Running. What a comeback!

Barry/Grodd shoulda been a recipe for sure-fire success, but it was such a let down, especially the fight/escape scene.
Iris mirror story is draging, bored of it.
Evil Wells/Thorne looks like he's coming back - yay another speedster big-bad! Why!!
