I knew from the first part that it was going to be something quite spectacular. Drastic decisions, surprises and a sad ending made this episode for me possibly the best one yet. Everything was planned with detail from beginning to end and masterfully crated nonetheless. The epicness of these two parts reminded me of Lord of The Rings moments, and also the ending made Azula not only one of the best anime villains but quite possibly one of the best in TV series history. During the whole episode she was calm and sure of what she was doing, making her even more menacing at times. Zuko's decision was long time coming but still it was very satisfying to see it happen. I wonder now what is in store for him and his uncle and more importantly how will the Earth Kingdom and Water Kingdom regroup and find a way to bounce back.
Absolutely fantastic episode, together with art one even better. These two episodes saved season 3 which at a point seemed to be going nowhere. Hopefully from now on there will be more episodes like this to wrap up this Series in a good way and make it worth it's hype.

This was a tense, thrilling second half of the invasion on the day of the Black sun, as we realize the fire nation knew of it all, thanks to a short scene back in book 2!
Suddenly you are on edge to say how things will play out now, both in terms of our heroes and Zuko!
Zuko however gets the best scene and moment in this episode, as his character arc and the choices he made, finally comes together and he makes the biggest choice thus far!
The scene with him and Ozai was really well done! Intense, satisfying and it goes to show just how much Zuko has grown as a character, as he finally sees right from wrong! It all goes back to when he was banished and I love it!
The moments of action are equally great and we are all left with a bleak ending and a feeling that we have no clue what is gonna happen now!
