It deserves much more recognition, it's a fantastic series and everybody should have a chance to watch this.

It is a must watch anime don't listen to false reviews. If you're looking for a school anime where op mc is complete badass and does not show mercy to anyone then watch this anime blindly. Trust me you will not regret it. It is an awesome anime and it is my best Chinese anime. The storyline is awesome and the mc is so awesome that I'm speechless.

This anime is amazing. Watching this anime my heart was filled with excitement every moment. This really fullfilled my expectations. I am praising this anime so then you might be thinking that why I gave it 9*. It's because graphics is not good. Also there is no dub. I hear that this is underrated anime. I really recommend it to watch. It'll be worth of your time. Give it a go.

Amazing story writer but animation Is not that good

It has a best writteer but the animation and production company in not that much good I guess but as you keep watching it after season 1 you will get into it completely. In start you can get confused between the characters as all Chinese people look same 😂 but the story is nice.

Bad directing and bad dialogues

It could have been much better with that story but as usual the story flow and dialogues are trash. Chinese anime have such high potential but turn it into something horrible because of the story direction and dialogues.

This made my top 10 favorites, must watch!

I was lucky enough to be able to binge watch all 6 seasons in a span of a few days, and although I did not find a website to have sufficient subtitles for this anime; I was able to catch on to some of the dialogue and made sense of things. The character development is outstanding. And not just the main character (Mo Fan) but also with his sister and the other supporting characters. It kept my interest the whole way through, the storyline in itself is good enough to be top tier anime. I would recommend this anime to anyone! I personally loved this anime and am excitingly waiting for season 7 to arrive.

Horrible Animation for an anime 2016+

This anime is slow, the fight scenes are horrible and animated badly. I have no idea how an anime released in 2016 can be animated so badly.

The story is interesting as well as the idea of the elements. That's all there is to this anime, it's very boring to watch. Im amazed as always how anime like this can get multiple seasons. The 10 star ratings on here is absolute nonsense, this anime isn't a must see nor does it deserve more recognition. The 7.5 IMDB rating is insane to me.

Chinese anime are already annoying to listen to, their voice actors are horrible, the least they could have done is made the animation somewhat even close to what you expect from anime being released 2016 and onwards. There is literally only 2 Chinese anime that I have seen that are must watch and that's The Kings Avatar and Fog Hill of Five Elements. Full time magister in comparison to those 2 anime deserves even lower than the 5 star I'm giving it.

I think I enjoyed watching it. It has a good story and amazing execution too. Animation looks like 2007 type in first two season but its not that bad. It's underrated and I wish they release next season soon. I think it gets better with every season. Just watch it if you want some magic entertainment.

I've binged watched the first 4 seasons at least 5 times already and I'm going through Season 5 as we speak. This was one of the first Chinese Anime I watched (Soul Land is another favorite) and I have thoroughly enjoyed it.

I enjoyed the Cultivator genre and I look forward to seeing what happens in Season 5.

Best of chinese anime

This is one of my favorite Chinese anime series. If you are looking for an anime that motivates you and remain your school life , then this is the best for you. I think that it should be seen in the future as a popular anime like naruto.we are waiting for S7. I see superpowers,magic.its love, how it rises through adversity. I think these are the best things a child can find these days. Among the Chinese anime series I have watched, this was the only anime series that made me curious. Although this series is unique, it is not popular because it was not marketed properly. As an anime fan, I also saw this by chance. Through digital marketing, this can attract a large audience. Therefore, make sure to make this popular. Also, we would like to see at least 500 episodes of this. So we request you to create at least 500 episodes.

I completely agree with the bad reviews on here. I only started watching because it had 4 seasons already, so it must be good right? WRONG!! Just like every Chinese anime, it's confusing to follow because everyone sounds the same, you can't tell whose talking. None of the voices are animated enough to distinguish themselves; they're all monotone. The action parts are not exciting because of the poor background/scene music & sound effects. PLEASE STOP PRODUCING CHINESE ANIMES; DON'T WATCH BECAUSE THEY'RE A WASTING OF TIME.
