Why call the Movie "Freestyle" when its about Motocross?
m5kungen10 October 2009
Im so tired after watching this movie... Once again Hollywood doesn't even trying to get it authentic? The sound in the movie doesn't match the bikes? Do you remember Terminator 2? Furlong on Honda XR80 FOURSTROKE and with audio from a 2-stroke bike sound? And when they talk about technical stuff around the bikes its always wrong. In every Bikemovie its the same : Supercross,Torque,Bikerboyz and so on.....If you have any more Movietitles about bikes please let me know! don't they have technical expert for advise during filming the Movie? Why call the Movie "Freestyle" when the story is about Motorcross? Please comment on this and on Bikemovies in general........

Corbin Rocked on a Motorcycle
Guitar-829 October 2009
I couldn't believe this movie came out on Christmas Eve in Mexico & finally arrived here in the US around Columbis Day.

Corbin looked cool on a motorcycle, whether it was that scooter he drove to deliver pizzas, the dirt bike he raced on or that street motorcycle he drove on the streets (too bad it wasn't a ninja).

One of the cute parts was when the kids celebrated their mother's birthday & she got 37 lottery tickets as a birthday gift.

This movie proves you don't have to be a champion in your own sport, but being a good sport like Corbin's character was.

Just like his movie, Jump In, Corbin's dad appears in this movie as well as Corbin singing a song for the soundtrack.

If you like motorcycles & High School Musical, see this movie.

Heartwarming

I saw this movie and I can say that I left the theater with a good feeling. It's great to see movies where young people have to fight for what they have and yet lead an honest life, support their family and their friends. This is not really about motorbikes, but about having the strength and determination to see life just as it is, with all its ups and downs; having the courage to face the past and let go. You will love Madison Pettis the minute you see her. Corbin Bleu looks so handsome! Sandra Echeverria looks gorgeous! In summary, this is a good movie you can go and see with all your family and celebrate hard work, honesty and love.

Good film

A brief review...

I wasn't very sure about watching a motorcycle film as I'm not very interested in motorcycling, but the film was good to pass the time.

It had an interesting story and the acting was also pretty good, especially Corbin's. However, the music during the film was quite annoying. But apart from the music, the film was different from any other film's I've seen and showed a young man followed his dreams to support his family.

Overall, a nice, heartwarming film :)
