In the whole series i've never much liked ms taylor but she was passable. in this ep though i'm sorry but i just didn't like her acting. i've not much liked her in the few other roles i've seen her because she doesn't seem smooth to me but has to force her acting.
but that didn't ruin the ep as bob's personal demons made this a good ep esp when he addressed the father who was beating his son.

I thought this show was supposed to have actual military technical advisors? Apparently they didn't on this episode. I don't mind the errors in minute military details which don't become central to plot elements, but they really should have researched something that they made into a plot element. The Army doesn't promote enlisted privates to send to OCS to becaome officers. Such a blatant plot error may seem small to some, but blows up the entire plot for anyone with actual military experience. Also, s'he didn't graduate college, which would have prevented her from joining as an officer to attend OCS. Enlisted personel who become officers, short of a battlefield promotion, which doesn't really happen in the modern army, normally do so because they were able to complete a college degree while enlisted. I really hate it when writers creat a plot event out of such an obvious error.
on the official "the Unit" page it says that the location is in Montenegro, but actually in the episode it is described as the republic of Macedonia.
First of all that is a totally different country!!!!!
Second thing is that the people on the location there didn't speak Macedonian!!! they spoke Greek- which is a language spoken in Greece, not Macedonia. Again a 3rd country that has no connection to the location.
As a conclusion - The people that recorded this didn't have a clue where the plot was placed!!!!

- GoofsWhen Bob is seen from his right side, when he is watching through the scope, the cap is still on the lens. When seen from his left, the cap is off. The cap appears and reappears all throughout the episode.

Jonas Blaine: Come to any conclusions?
Bob Brown: Yeah.
Jonas Blaine: And?
Bob Brown: And I like it, Jonas. God help me Jonas, but I like it.
Jonas Blaine: Yeah well, you have to don't you?
Bob Brown: Mm-hmm.
