Unveiling the Complexities of Axe: Power, Empathy, and Unpredictability in 'Billions
juangomez082416 May 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Axe, the powerful protagonist of "Billions," exhibits a multifaceted personality that oscillates between extremes. While he displays immense strength and influence, exemplified by his exaggerated actions with his father's car, his treatment of his mother reveals a lack of empathy that is sporadically overshadowed by fleeting moments of compassion. Rooted in his childhood traumas, Axe's enigmatic character and unpredictability make him captivating yet challenging to follow. It appears that he is willing to sacrifice his family to continue breaking boundaries, utilizing his formidable mental strength to leave an indelible mark.

I never give tens

While I have adored this series from Day One and literally joined Showtime solely to watch it, I fully expected to be disappointed eventually. Here we are in Season 5 and my only complaint is HOW DARE THEY SHUT DOWN BECAUSE OF RONA? Well, they're back up and running and I wonder if I am not even more appreciative because of the temporary starvation. I think what sets this series apart is that nearly everyone is a little evil, and yet, there are no true villains. You like everyone, love a few, and every character, even the insignificant ones, has depth. Actors you have known your entire life cease to be "that actor", and morph effortlessly into their roles in this series. But we all know it ain't effortlessly. While great writing is obviously in evidence here, Someone has to give the Director(s) the ultimate credit. This series has NO competition for quality.

Warning: Spoilers
Really? why would you bring your new "fling" to go see your dad in the hospital ? that was awkward and stupid, and who believes that Chuck's new love interest is real ? she is beautiful, only in the movies do the ugly, ugly men get beautiful women, he does not even have a good personality to fall back on. the sex scene was just yuck!! and if they have Wendy and Axe go at it, i will probably quit watching.............
